We were a part of 5 and were seated immediately. The server took our order right away and was very attentive. This even thought it was the only table available. This is not a place to come to if you DON'T just want fish and chips. That's all it really does. Good price, Huge portions and yummy yummy fish and chips. Chips, chrispy, fluffy, not greasy. Fish perfectly battered and fishy in all the right ways. Cod, chips and a drink £7.25. Can't argue.

The service in this place is disgusting,, we were brushed off when after 30 minutes we had still not got any food ,, and we enquired how much longer it would be ( 2 cod 2 chips 2 cokes 1 curry sauce hardly taxing on 30th of December with approx 10 people dining !!) we were told 2-3 minutes,, after waiting another 5 we were brought a box of cold chips with a bland curry sauce ,, when questioned about the remainder of the order we got told "it's coming " ,,, after enduring another 5+ minutes he returned with a box which was thrust on the table ,, it contained a very overdone what I can only assume in a previous life was a piece of cod !! At this point we asked what happened to the other items only to be met with a shrug of the shoulders and told " dunno" and the waiter then walked off !!! At this point we decided enough was enough and demanded a refund,, the staff were beyond rude and had no intention of being helpful or apologetic in any way ,,, they were impolite and dismissive,, they even had the cheek to deduct the price of our refund for the cokes that we didn't even finish !! On our exit we were met by words of well done you guys by other members of the public who had been served wrong orders by this disgusting establishment,, I can only warn people not to waste their money here because at the end of the day their customers are of no importance to them merely their Money!!!
