It was my friend's birthday and since he enjoys Mexican food, I thought it would be nice to drive to Speyer for the xmas markets and to eat some Mexi food. We walked in the door and said our name for the reservation, and they looked at us and thought "hey let's put them in the back by the bar and a family with a very loud screaming baby." We were the only other table put in the back area by this horrid family, who let their kid play loud musical toys the entire time. Obviously, if you see a nice looking couple walk in, who have reserved a table for two, they are going to not want to be placed by the loud annoying family. I booked the reservation for 18:00, which is practically when it opens. There place was empty, yet they decided to put us by the bar area, where the bar tender was blending in a mixer a lot margarita's non-stop.. but for who???I have no idea. The food is overpriced for what you get. The food is way too salty. The service is slow and incompetent. I left a generous tip, despite the horrible service, because I felt bad for the waitress, she looked like she had not slept in days, her make-up made her look like a wanna-be Mexican $5 dollar hooker. Overall, I am am highly disappointed in this place. Being from California, I've had my fair share of authentic Mexican food...for what I consider is a reasonable price.
