The food was delicious, ample, and beautifully presented. I had Rotbarsch on a bed of mustardy mashed potatoes and oyster mushrooms. The service was excellent. The pricing was reasonable, especially considering that this is a resort island. In short, it was as perfect a dining experience as one could wish for.

Both are from the North Sea, but the un preserved one had been freshly peeled. The Scholle with mushroom and shrimp was great; soft like butter and very delicious.
