The "Fisch Haus", as it is known, is an amazing multi-disciplinary art studio, located in Wichita's Commerce St. Art District. In fact, the Fisch Haus has anchored the south Commerce arts district, since it was founded in 1993 by Patrick Duegaw, John Ernatt, Eric Schmidt and Kent Williams. The 3-story warehouse contains studio and gallery spaces, and currently hosts 5 resident artists. Throughout the year, Fisch Haus hosts festivals such as the K.N.O.B. New Music Festival and OPERANIME, as well as a Tuesday night Jazz Series and a summer artist-in-residence program. Fisch Haus is a great place to stop by on "Final Friday" art gallery walks.
