    Eggs benedict
    Jaime M.

Came here because I have a birthday coupon. Food was good once it was cooked right. Husband had eggs benedict, eggs were small & he had a shell in it! Other than that, he said they were good. I had the trifecta, asked for it extra hot & no parsely. It came out luke warm with parsely. Sent it back & it was great! Service was ok. And they were fairly busy for a Monday afternoon!

I came here for brunch and was very pleased with my experience. We were greeted and helped right away. The workers were very friendly. Our food was served fairly quickly and was DELICIOUS. My mom and I were very pleased with our orders. The servers were also accommodating in letting us know about gluten free options as my mom has a gluten allergy. I appreciated our experience here and can't wait to come back.

I've been to this particular branch manny times. And many others throughout the US. Bacon to die for here, no matter if it's with I'm your eggs, on a BLT or just as a side or main dish. Staff very nice, food has always been great.

Love this breakfast place. The one on speedway has such good service who are quick & efficient. Food was amazing!

First impression of the place is wonderful, there's ample parking, indoor and outdoor seating are great; even their black board menu is very nice. The servers were both attentive, the only downside was my avocado toast, it tasted sour from too much lemon. I had to remove the avocado from the toast to salvage what's left of my meal. It tasted more like lemon toast than avocado toast. Other than that, for the price it's not worth it.

First Watch is hands down one of my favorite spots for breakfast or brunch in Tucson. The vibe is warm and welcoming, with friendly service and a cozy atmosphere that makes it perfect for catching up with friends or enjoying a quiet morning. I ordered the Chickichanga and was blown away--so flavorful, with the perfect balance of savory and spicy. Their fresh juices are also a must; I tried the Morning Meditation and loved how refreshing it was. What really stands out about First Watch is the quality of their ingredients--you can truly taste the freshness in every bite. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty omelet, fluffy pancakes, or a lighter acai bowl, there's something for everyone. I appreciate that they offer healthier options without sacrificing flavor. This place gets busy, so I recommend going early or being prepared for a short wait--it's absolutely worth it! Read the full write up on Casa Saguaro's website!

Our first visit was a good one! We got a free kids meal coupon so we came for the first time. Our server was very kind and attentive, she was very sweet to my little boy! My daughter got a chocolate chip pancake, and I got a salmon frittata and both meals were very good! The ambience is very relaxing and it's a good place to just come with friends, family, and even kids.

    Tangerine Dream

Excellent customer service!!! They still accommodate my requests for Benedict Florentine even though it's not on the menu anymore. I also tried the tangerine dream beverage off their holiday menu and tastes like a better quality version of a Dreamsicle ice cream bar. Yum. Gabrielle was a very good server, and I happened to catch the head chef. Very pleasant and attentive to customers! Good experience!

I received the wrong order. Rather than check and acknowledge that the order I received was incorrect, the server insisted that I told her that I wanted my eggs as pictured (below). Only to finally check, and then tell me that the wrong order had been brought to me.

First Watch at Kolb and Speedway. Ordered the breakfast skillet with sausage and mushrooms ordered my eggs over medium. Unfortunately they were over hard. This meal comes with toast as well. Still a delicious breakfast

We made a reservation well in advance and even then there were limited time options. The atmosphere of the restaurant is slightly upscale while still being cozy. I love all the plants! Our server was very knowledgeable and was able to give several recommendations. We ordered the grilled and chilled beets and the steak skewers for appetizers. The beets and everything that came with them was very fresh! I love anything with pickled onions. The steak appetizer was excellent and my dad could not stop talking about them. Next, I ordered the swordfish special and my dad got the pork chop. Everything was cooked to perfection and flavor was everywhere! For dessert we split the dark chocolate ganache. The ganache was very rich but paired wonderfully with the whipped cream and other flavors. I don't drink, but my dad also loved the cocktails he ordered! If Tito & Pep has been on your list do not hesitate any longer. I very much regret not coming here sooner and I highly recommend giving it a try!

It was a smash cheeseburger on texas toast, fries and one big chicken tendy. I got the special to try their burger for the first time and save some money. I'm not usually a fan of having my burger smashed but this one was hitting the spot. It had a slice of American cheese and their cowpig sauce. Very tasty I must say. I found myself dipping it in more sauce. The fries were perfectly crispy, they kinda remind me of McDee's fries and were just as good. The tendy was huge and crunchy and served with a side of ranch and cowpig sauce. I also enjoyed the "jams" they were playing. It was some old school 80's and 90's hip hop and R&B bangers. The bar itself is very small but you can sit out in the back if you need more space. Although I didn't drink this time, it appeared that they had some really good beers on tap as well. Next time I'll will have to grab a few.

The first thing I need to own is that it's a shame I hadn't visited here before. We arrived Friday 5:30p and both the bar and patio areas were packed - standing room only, and no wonder. They have one of the better happy hours (daily! 3:00 - 6:30p) - able to accommodate both the slacker and the over-timer Lol. Basic drinks are all discounted such as house wines, well drinks, and beers. Their bottled wines and craft cocktails are all exempt though. Many of their appetizers are also discounted and some quite substantially. We grabbed a glass of the house cabernet ($6, normally $8) and the grilled shrimp wrapped in jalapeno bacon ($13, normally $20). NOTE: happy hour pricing is Only available if you order/consume at the bar or on the patio. The dining areas were only half full at this early point (but filled up by 6:30) and the host kindly encouraged us to enjoy our starters at the bar as she would hold our table. We were then sat near the "back" of this long venue and frankly, aside from the lone windowed table at the very front, this would be my preferred seating - cozy, intimate, with only five other tables around us. For dinner drinks she got an Italian Nebbiolo Bricco Magno Red Blend ($13/glass, reliably terrific/mellow) and I got the Chupacabra ($15) Mezcal/prickly pear cocktail, strong and excellent as well. We got an additional appetizer: the roasted bone marrow ($19). I had never had before but she raved about how good this can be if done properly (bonus, it is super healthy). Folks, a picture/worth a 1000... suffice to say this was simply outstanding! We both had long work weeks and were craving meat - just a damn good steak. Our waiter, without blinking recommended the 8oz bison filet mignon ($65) as his absolute menu fav, and the day's special: 14oz ribeye ($50). We ordered each. All dinners come with two sides and we each got the day's special: roasted half artichoke and she got the loaded baked potato while I got the mashed potatoes. Food arrived in about 15 minutes later at good temperature (warm/rested with a strong char) with each being accurately grilled (medium and medium-rare). Taste was outstanding. Neither one of us had bison filet before and marveled how it (subtly) added a "wild" edge to an always outstanding, lean-but-tender, cut of beef. The loaded baked was terrific, however, the mashed was the only disappointment... a plainer mash one could not make themselves - pure white and borderline dry, no milk, butter, egg, gravy(?), nothing to make it creamy or add any flavor dimension - a surprise frankly. The only other "critique" is that the dessert menu could add some kind of dark/chocolate concoction. All in all, though, we loved our experience and have decided to add this to our periodic special dinners rotation! Staff was outstanding - just the proper balance of attentive and quiet - and waters never went below half empty. Parking is free and plentiful, especially behind the restaurant (and yes, if you continue on around the back there is another long entrance/exit driveway that comes out the other side of Jimmy John's and Noodleholics.

I understand the head chef has a French influence, but frankly it overwhelms the food and takes away from the freshness. I had the snapper since they didn't have the halibut. It seemed over cooked and then drenched in sauce with greens on top, also drenched in sauce. The saddest part was they sat us in the back room. Where they seemed to sit everyone coming into the restaurant. If the restaurant was packed I would understand but every other room was empty. Who wants to sit along the pathway to the bathroom? Service was so/so. Had to ask for drinks multiple times. But frankly the quality of the food was not worth the cost. Definitely will not be returning, until they revamp the menu to include less French style and more uniquely inspired fresh food. I mean if we wanted French we would have gone to Le Rendezvous or Wild Garlic which are top notch.
