This is one of my faves. I tried the location in Kansas but didn't know they had one elsewhere, so I had to try this spot, this time with my SO. And First watch did not disappoint. Food at this location was just as good as the Kansas spot. The million dollar bacon has earned its title. Never have I tasted bacon so good. The street corn dish was sooo delicious. The omelet was good but I'm not a fan of omelets but it was still tasty. The salad that came with the omelet wasn't so good it was kind of warm and a little soggy but it was flavorful. The whole grain toast and homemade spread for the toast was so delicious. The service was good. We only had to wait about 15min to be seated though it was packed by mid afternoon on a weekday. This is the third time we have been there. The food is amazing so next time we will order to go. The waiting staff is awful. The second time we went we were literally the only ones eating in the restaurant at 7:30 on a Thursday morning. Survive was adequate that morning. If you go when there things are even just mildly busy you won't be waited on. You will just get your food, very likely the wrong order. We got breakfast, I had to ask two other waiters who were not for my table to get basic things we needed, like syrup. Their excuse is they are short staffed. Well that's the managers fault for not having more hands working. Not an acceptable excuse. read more

The food here is great! I have never been disappointed. The eggs are always perfectly cooked. I like the avocado toast and also the eggs benedict. However, the prices are high so we don't go that often. The drink & juice prices are especially high. Food was very good! We had the holey donuts, carnitas burrito and omelet. Nothing disappointed. Servers were great and kind. Skip the food, get the kale tonic. Negative - The breakfast rush was intense, we waited 10 minutes for them to seat our group of 2 at 9:15 on a Friday morning. Our server was overwhelmed and perhaps had too many tables to give good service? We ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes with a side of eggs, cheese grits and the kale tonic. They brought the kale tonic quickly and then we waited almost 30 minutes before a young man from the kitchen brought our food out. It had been under a heat lamp and the pancakes were dry and the eggs rubbery. The grits were forgettable. They also didn't bring any butter or syrup for the pancakes. They had a dallop of lemon curd, but were otherwise very dry. I think our server had forgotten to bring our our food. The $4 side of eggs consisted of one rubbery egg. Again we waited almost 10 minutes at the register to be able to pay and leave. Our breakfast took well over an hour, with maybe 10-15 minutes of that being when we actually had food. They could NOT maintain any quality or service with that quantity of customers. Maybe they need to remove some seating or hire more help? The positive - the kale tonic was fresh, crisp and light. I could taste each of the ingredients and they blended well. I would recommend the drink, and that's why I give 2 stars instead of only 1. The next time I want a good breakfast, I'd honestly rather go to Dennys. read more

We went to breakfast with a group of 12 and the entire experience was perfect. We had never been to First Watch, or the prior restaurant The Egg and I before, so this was an entirely new experience for us. From the moment we walked in, the service was prompt, pleasant and attentive. All of the plates were presented beautifully with fresh wholesome ingredients, and everyone said their food was delicious. Among the items ordered were egg white omelet, oatmeal with fruit and muffin, pancakes, french toast, and a few others. All were fabulous. I knocked this review down a notch because of the initial service. Walked in just after 8 a.m. on a Sunday. The sign said, "Please wait to be seated." I waited 4-5 minutes and even though there were customers and servers around, no one greeted me. Found a two-top and sat down. Loved the pot of bold coffee. Ordered the chile and chorizo omelet. Love the fact that they serve greens instead of potatoes. Omelet was okay, nothing special...a bit dry and had some burned onions or slivered peppers inside which dominated the flavor. My server, Rose, was excellent. She was super-polite and attentive. I'll go back and try this place again. It used to be The Egg & I, and I liked it better then. Seemed a bit more "home town" then and there was always staff up front to make you feel welcome. For now, I'd give the nod to George's Corner downtown. read more

Not worth it! 35 min wait when we could see open table/tables that needed to be bussed since we arrived. Then another 40 minutes until food got to us and the long awaited skillet potatoes were undercooked. Our waitress didn't check in on us- dropped food and left. I ordered a side and that wasn't delivered with the main food. It was 100% forgotten about, when it arrived, it was cold. There wasn't salt on the table- I get that it's covid times, but I couldn't flag our waitress down for salt, let alone water. Loved the atmosphere and service. My son's omelette was delicious. My daughter's waffle was truly special. The berry compote and cinnamon butter made the day. I'd only give the eggs Benedict 3 1/2 stars- we all agreed we prefer the Hollandaise sauce I make at home in my vitamix. However, the MILLION DOLLAR BACON was the best I've ever had. The host (didn't catch his name unfortunately) was running all over taking care of everyone and making sure everybody waiting knew exactly what was going on. Everything was great! Food was beyond expectations and I'm so glad a breakfast place of this caliber is finally in St. George ! Our server was Rose and she was fantastic! We had the Floridian French Toast which had a rainbow of fresh fruit on top of it and the Chorizo Egg scramble that was delightful and served with Pico salsa and some fresh green leaf that my mom loved ! We waited 30 minutes to be seated while there were tons of dirty empty tables sitting everywhere. When we finally were seated we waited at least 20 minutes for drink order, another 20 for the drinks and 40 minutes for food. Stopped there for our first time today and it was delicious. Had the million dollar bacon and it had the right amount of sweet and heat. I love my bacon crispy and it wasn't that so keep that in mind. Still the flavors created a great combination. The carnitas burrito is huge and had great flavor. After traveling the country for the month of December, this was our last meal before heading home. We ordered the gingerbread, donut holes, cinnamon, chocolate, pancakes, and some great frittatas and pork hash.
