We waited a little over an hour to get our food after we sat down. After our waitress brought us our drinks, she didn't come back until after we got our food and all she said was, "so how is it?" How is it!? We waited for so long! She gave no explanation as to why it took so long. We looked around the whole time and others seemed to have the same problem we did. My husbands Benedict eggs were over cooked. My quinoa breakfast bowl was okay.. but I could've made better. It was like a healthy version of dennys. I love dennys but my expectations were higher because it looked nicer, cost more, and we heard it was good. When we payed at the cash register, the cashier pointed at my pregnant belly and asked "what happened to you?" Loved the food! Their coffee and oatmeal is great! I was with a group of 8, and everyone was satisfied! Also a huge plus was the customer service, everyone was very friendly and had great enthusiasm. We are just passing through and it was a great experience! My boyfriend and I got the Farmhouse Skillet and the AM Superfood Bowl and both were amazing! The potatoes were so good and full of flavor. The bowl was the perfect serving, the sweetness was just right. However for me personally the almond butter toast was too much. Other than that it was soooo good! read more

I stopped by First Watch last week with a friend who is local to St. George. I wanted to go somewhere that was local to the area since I'm from out of town, she suggested First Watch. It's a quaint brunch spot that focuses on locally-sourced ingredients and regional fare. I ordered a skillet cheese which was loaded with vegetables and paired with a small fruit cup and some toast. I enjoyed it quite a bit. My only gripe is that I wish there where more eggs in the skillet, since eggs should be the focal point of a skillet. However, the vegetables were obviously fresh, so it really made up for it. I try to eat at a different restaurant every time I'm in St. George, but I would definitely like to come back to First Watch and try more of their menu. read more

I was rating this higher. But since their inception, the Million Dollar Bacon has gotten smaller, less spicy, and more corn syrupy tasting. The honey real maple with spicy was better. And the bacon was also bigger in the beginning. Now the bacon is smaller, thinner, and lesser than. The million dollar bacon WAS why I would insist on coming. Now, I'm going to not insist unless I don't like the other options. I can't eat the eggs here. They are nasty (too eggy - a cooked egg should not taste like a raw egg, but they do). read more

Dad got biscuits and gravy. The gravy was cold. Not even room temp. My sausage that I asked to be well done and crispy, came cooked on one side, but not the other, and the middle was uncooked. They gave dad my over medium eggs, and me his over hard eggs. The toast wasn't toasted It was just not good. And I really don't like their menu. I originally asked for the 1/2 sandwich [ rueben] with soup and salad. She looked at me like I had 2 heads. She said, we don't make Reubens. I said, it's on your online menu. She said, that's an old menu from the" EGG AND I" So, I said, ok....we'll take the steak and bacon burrito. It's right on their menu in house. Then she said oh! We are discontinuing that item too. So we had to go over the menu again. Order something they had. I got eggs and links sausage. It wasn't good. Dad said the biscuits and gravy weren't very good either. We won't go again. My mother in law brought me here. We had an appointment for massages later that morning. Tough door to open, but we entered. No greeting at all. And we had a couple staff members walk by. The attitude or airs coming off the gal who seated us and then also took our orders was apparent. Too late to change our minds on eating somewhere else. The menu was limited. But we ordered what sounded appealing. It took forever to order. It also took forever to get service at times, it wasn't even busy when we go there. The bread was delicous with the homemade jam. That was a highlight. The million dollar bacon, I would pass. Seriously not worth it. Mom got an omelette. She said the salad dressing was overpowering. She didn't eat it. Dang it!!!! I absolutely loved egg and I, I would make a point to drive down just for it. I was coming down from Salt Lake City and checked on yelp to see their hours. To my surprise I noticed they changed to First Watch. So I kept an open mind to give it a chance. Bummed!!! The food was ok, I definitely wouldn't make a point to drive here again. The bacon scramble was ok, to over cooked on the potatoes and bacon. The English muffin was lightly toasted but covered in butter. The orange just was good. Maybe it was store bought. The waffle was alright, it seemed off. Definitely not like the egg and I. The server said yeah some people have complained about the waffles today, maybe the cooks messed up on the batter. Uh... shouldn't their be a manager to take those comments and fix it??? The bca was ok, the salad was good. Just a regular plain omelette. Gosh I miss the egg and I. This was our first time here. Our server, Fae is AMAZING! We waited maybe 2 min for specialty drinks. I've never had someone so fast. She's so personable and a beautiful soul. She asked us multiple times if we were okay or needed anything. The food, the food was masterful. I highly recommend eating here. We're definitely fans of Fae and the food. read more

We came in town for a friends wedding. We stopped by yesterday and there was a long wait, and we were on a tight schedule. We thought we would like to come back. We came back the next morning early before we were leaving for home. The menu was really great, really great food options even I who isn't a breakfast person found several great options for breakfast. The food came and was hot and delicious. Unfortunately there was a horrible wind and rain storm and the power went out. We were very fortunate to have our food served to us. No new orders were taken and I felt bad for those less fortunate and couldn't order. We finished our food and left, but when we return, we will definitely come back to try other items. read more

Stay tuned... 1:35pm our food arrived and it was in fact delicious. The omelette and potatoes were cold when they came out but the other 2 meals were warm. It's the service that needs help here, maybe new management? I'm not sure how they need to address the timelines, but they do. If they get that sorted out it'll be on point. read more

First Watch is a FAVORITE of mine in Arizona so I was very excited to see one here in St George!! For a restaurant with multiple locations, the menu really has the feel of a private operation coming up with multiple ways to make my mouth water! Dishes are uniquely flavorful and I'm always excited to see the new things on the menu!! Just had breakfast here at First Watch. Checked in and waited for about ten minutes. This place was packed in pretty well. After we were seated, Riley our server took our drinks. Recommend the Juice Bar, very tasty when we had the Watermelon Fruit drink. Overall we ordered the oatmeal, salmon fratada, and lemon ricotta pancakes. Delicious!
