One of the best places I have tried so far. We just moved here from California last year, and being retired, I have become somewhat of a foodie and love trying new places. On Sunday, July 19, 2020, we were finally able to try First watch, all I can say is "Why did I wait so long?" We had a large party of 9 people, we were sat quickly for being a Sunday, by a super pleasent staff and never forgotten about as we sat catching up with everyone for about 2 hours, the staff never once made us feel as we were taking up a table and already ate, I have felt that way in some places before, but not here. Our order was taken promptly and arrived just as fast. I ordered the Chorizo Omelette and a side of Bisquit & Gravy, they were so good. This gravy had a slight kick of pepper to add to the flavor,, I spooned up the left over gravy, just to eat it. I enjoyed the omelette as well, it was tasty and cooked to profection, this is a must go place, it might of been my first time there, but it will not be my last. read more

I went to First Watch with my husband for the first time this morning. From the moment you walk in the door, you feel welcomed by friendly staff and beautiful rustic decor. I ordered the Hacienda Hash and my husband ordered the Chile Chorizo. When I tell you this dish was amazing, I mean amazing! Every single bite was full of delicious, savory flavor. From their perfectly seasoned potatoes to their freshly cut red peppers and chipotle ketchup drizzle. The orange juice is even amazing. You can tell it's freshly squeezed; tastes nothing like Minute Maid! Our waitress, Brandy, informed us it was her first day, but she seemed very knowledgeable about the menu and had great service. Additionally something I really admire about this restaurant is their very healthy food choices as well as options that are gluten free and organic. The food here is beyond compare. Such fresh ingredients and so many creative dishes to choose from! Lots of healthy choices, a juice bar and I just read you can start having a "real" bloody mary or Mimosa (etc) with your meal! The service is excellent and helpful. They seem to truly love working there and that great attitude starts at the top with Sonja (Mgr.) And Chance (Asst. Manager). A definite plus for Bellevue!! read more

I love what they've done with the place after taking over The Egg & I!! The new open space looks beautiful. I went there today with my coworkers at about 11:10. I got a Cobb salad but requested some changes which sometimes doesn't go over well but the waitress was awesome (her name was Soni). The food is pretty darn good but I didn't like the ranch. I'm more of a dill ranch person so when I could taste mayo I was a little turned off. None the less, it was still good. Despite them being busy we were in and out with no problems. I do wish that we had gotten a refill on our carafe of coffee but they were busy so no worries there. All in all I'm hoping to go back soon with the hubby. He loves the banana nut pancakes read more

It was so awful I took one bite and returned it. It tasted like someone put turkey into a food processor, with a thick salsa consistency. None of the right spices or flavors. Second time here. After a horrific first visit in which we waited an hour to be seat and then spent 20 minutes waiting for a waitress to even spot by our table, we decided to give them another try. This time we were seated promptly and attended to add expected. However, even without a full crowd we witnessed another table need to ask for a waitress to attend them. The food they serve is weird.. best is tacos and waffles. Other wise the other stuff sounds awful. And there coffee is awful.

The food is good here (Bellevue, NE location) but too expensive for the portion size you get (the breakfast). Wait staff is good and the place is at least warm inside. Coffee was really good too but again, if you get a beverage with the meal, then your cost is even more over the top. Especially if you plan on tipping at least 15%. Our family was visiting here from Texas and we normally love this restaurant chain and have dined with them on numerous occasions. Upon being seated after a few minutes of waiting, our server approached our table. Without greeting us or introducing herself she said "can I get your drink order?" That was about it. ( I know her name is TIELAR because it's printed on our receipt) She seemed like work was the last place on earth she would rather be. She brought our drinks and we let her know we were ready to order. My husband placed his order and then I ordered the Traditional Breakfast and asked if I could replace the toast with a waffle. She flat out said NO-abrupt and loud. I repeated "No?" she replied "unless you want to pay the 8 or 9 something extra" , while she was using her pin to point out the cost of the waffle. I replied " I am not paying for 2 breakfast plates so I guess I will have wheat toast" She then grabbed our menus off of our table, rolled her eyes then walked off. I know sometimes people have bad days and things happen but this was deliberately rude behavior. The response could have been something like, there may be an upcharge or I will have to ask my manager, let me find out for you" something other than a loud NO. Our location in Dallas charges an upcharge of $3 which is totally fine. All the while I am enviously watching and hearing the other servers interact with their customers in a very pleasant and professional manner. I am giving 2 stars only because I have dined with First Watch before and have never been treated unkind. Tielar must not value the dollar enough to deliver kind, pleasant customer service so she in return may have to learn value the hard way. I grew up in the restaurant industry and worked very hard to secure decent tips, being that tips were my main source of income. As a general rule of thumb, I don't like to review chain establishments. Mainly because of the cookie cutter menus and plastic decor. But the First Watch in Bellevue is a definite go to for my wife and I every Saturday when we are in town. This location is fast to seat and today was the only time we have ever had to wait (10 minutes). All the help and wait staff are there to please and ready to accommodate. I think we have the honor of selecting one of everything on the entire menu. All is delicious, wholesome and prepared with skill. Today a Tri-athlete for my wife and the Chorizo omelet for me. The starter was the wonderful Morning Meditation. Love these! The meal was quick out and as we were waiting we noticed a First Watch Cookbook. That too went home. Not the regular chain event to say the least. And the added surprise was they honor military discounts! Thank you for supporting the personnel!
