I closed my bank account at the end of March 2020; Upon learning that I was going to receive my…read moreStimulus check in the same account that I filed my taxes on April 15, 2020, I called the bank to see if I could re-open the account. I was called back by someone in Bonham, North Center St.; She told me that all I needed to do was deposit $1.00 to reopen it, she stated that the IRS deposit was pending....that's right $1200.00, and all I needed was to deposit $1.00. Problem was it was 4:30pm, I was in Winnsboro, the closest Legend bank was in Cooper, Texas,; Which I would not have made it. The Direct Deposit will now go back to the IRS with a note saying the account was closed. Frankly; I would have given her $20.00 for her to put one dollar in my account out of her purse just to help me out; during a Pandemic, when the stimulus money would have helped me, the bank would not do that; I had that account for almost 5 years....apparently, Legend bank is out for itself, not thinking about the people who are suffering in their own little town of Bonham. People have no jobs, no money, no food...its a real shame. The bank woman said that other people were in the same position, and would not get their stimulus money either; I thought, OMG, a home town bank that would NOT help their own people in their town. Thank God that I have family that will help me until the paper check comes in in 20 weeks....thanks for nothing Legend bank, YOU OUGHT TO BE ASHAMED THAT YOU ACT AS THOUGH YOU ARE THERE FOR PEOPLE, BUT YOU ARE NOT.....HEARD OF FAKE NEWS, WELL, NOW THERE IS FAKE BANKS.

My wife was interested in a Ford F-150 they had on their lot and went to check it out today. Turns…read moreout the Truck's windshield was completely smashed and needed to be replaced. The tires looked like they were in desperate need of replacement as well, with large chunks of rubber either missing entirely or barely hanging on. I get that this is being sold as a used vehicle, but when you're asking someone to pay $30k for a "used" truck, you would expect something better than this! When my wife asked for a test drive, the initial engine crank was enough for us to know right away we didn't need to take the test drive. It had definite sounds of mechanical issues. The old guy helping us today informed us that their mechanic makes sure all their vehicles are mechanically sound - which I have problems believing after hearing something like that engine just produced. I'm not sure they even bothered with any kind of detail of the interior either. The carpet protectors were still caked in mud. There was some unknown dried substance that had dripped down the sides of the center console, and lots of dust throughout the cabin mixed with some kind of animal fur throughout. I have no idea if they ever planned on addressing any of these issues, but this was not our idea of what a $30k truck should or would look/sound like.
