Really fast and efficient to get here. The job was completed quickly and no mess was made. Would recommend them and will use them again.

Serviceteam - Fitting carpets and stair runners

Very poor experience with Serviceteam. They damaged my sink whilst installing an Insinkerator and…read morerefused to fix it claiming that their 'warranty' didn't cover collateral damage. I would warn everyone against using them and wish I had not.

Overall, I had a very bad experience, and this would have been a lower rating if not for Kevin…read more(handling logistics), who was great and resolved things. I had three central heating and one combination radiator installed. This meant the plumber would have to do some electrics. I sent a very clear and detailed document outlining the radiators' specs, sizes, and where I wanted them. The plumber came three times in total (I later learned the plumber hadn't received/read them). For two visits, the plumber had a bad attitude, largely because he was annoyed to be doing electrical work. The third, he was normal, but he was only there to fix a leak he had caused. Details below: - As mentioned, he had a bad attitude overall, not something I'd expected, having used the same plumber from them before (that time, he was normal). - He installed trunking for the electric wires. He did an AWFUL job and put no corner pieces in the joints. Then had the audacity to tell me that they don't make corner trunking. I simply had to point to some in my kitchen. This trying to pull the wool over my eyes and talk down to me, he did multiple times over the three trips. - We had a large Victorian-styled radiator installed. But despite its large BTU, it wasn't getting hot. He claimed that they actually weren't very good and I should have brought a different style (he blamed me/the radiator a few times). On his third trip, he tried to rebalance the system, again claiming they were bad. Little changed. I since got in a new plumber (different company), who instantly told me that the radiator had been installed the WRONG WAY AROUND. This type of radiator has a baffle, so it could never reach full temperature the wrong way around. I was shocked at the Serviceteam's expert plumbers' incompetence. Plus, I was now further out of pocket. - The plumber came back for a third visit because the pipe he installed for one of the radiators was leaking. However, before accepting that it was his work, he blamed the pipework in the house, and it took me ripping up the floor and removing a whole bathroom cabinet before he accepted and fixed the obvious leak. - He also strongly encouraged that the pipework he installed for the radiators be done in a certain way. Faster for him but definitely less pretty. I accepted it at the time as I just wanted him out of my house, but I have since regretted it. Lastly, the company takes AUTO PAYMENTS! A warning because they took the remaining fee despite the fact that I was extremely unhappy with the results. This meant that I had zero control over the situation and had to accept their timelines and hope someone would come back and finish the job. Regarding the terrible trunking, a month later, an electrician came around and finally fixed it. They did this in 10 minutes. As you'd imagine, the value for money was not worth the stress. I had given them a three, but rereading my experience, I had to drop it to 2 stars. Sadly, even if the logistical support staff are good, if their workers perform poorly, it reflects badly on the whole company.

A Running Scam -- A Criminal Scheme of Alarming Scale! It's…read morehard to believe this so-called business is still operating unchecked. For years, it has posed as one of Britain's top plumbing companies while repeatedly defrauding customers. I wish I had read the many negative reviews from others who were scammed just like me. The company displays a distinctive pattern. We called them to replace a simple plastic bath mixer- an attachment -- a very basic fixture that any professional plumber should carry or quickly source. During the initial call, and after paying £156 in advance, for the first hour, I offered to send a photo of the required part. They refused. That should have been the first red flag. Their tactic is simple: arrive, declare they don't have the part, suggest a quick trip to a local DIY shop that predictably doesn't stock it, then "go to Argos" -- consuming most of the paid hour. The plumber never returns but instead sends a follow-up report, suggesting another visit the next day for an additional £200 to "complete the job." In reality, the part is standard -- any competent plumber should either carry it or be able to collect it easily from their office stock. Instead, the company pockets £156 for doing virtually nothing. For reference, they quoted £360 to install a basic shower mixer onto bathtub taps -- a task that's usually straightforward and should not require such inflated costs or deceptive practices. This operation has exploited customers this way for years, as proven by numerous similar online complaints. Avoid these fraudsters and report their scam to Citizens Advice, who can escalate the matter to Trading Standards for investigation.

The most awful service I have ever experienced…read more Apparently, you cannot give 0 stars, which is a shame, as Pimlico do not even deserve 1 star. Incompetent administration, an engineer who lied and a complaints process which is basically them deciding that you are wrong. As others have said it's £150 up front. The engineer turned up, worked about 5 minutes and said everything was fine. 3 days later the leak started again in exactly the same place. Pimlico said I would have to pay again to get someone to look at it and that their engineer had advised a replacement which I had refused and that it was all detailed in the engineer report. Of course, I had never received the engineer report as they had the wrong email address for me, and if I had received it, I would have challenged the false statements the engineer had included in it. I immediately made a complaint, which they dismissed as they had video evidence that supported the fact I was lying about what the engineer told me. They didn't follow their own 3 step complaints process, they are not a member of any external ombudsmen or complaints scheme. So, when they defraud you and dismiss your claim, you have nowhere to go. Oh and of course they later admitted they didn't have any video evidence and claiming they had was a mistake, but they still didn't refund me the £150 or admit any wrongdoing. Literally the worst company I have ever dealt with.
