Kids Kastle Child Care

That said, if you can get a spot at Michelle's, you have won the jackpot. Finding quality childcare was significantly more difficult than I could have imagined when we started searching for my eldest. We tried both a facility setting and another in-home setting in Pleasant Hill before finding Michelle through a trusted friend. We knew instantly that she actually cared about our son and she went out of her way to meet him where he was and help him feel confident and comfortable in her care. Fast forward to today, our family has been with Michelle for 4+ years and she is one of the few people I would have trusted with our second baby when he was an infant and I had to go back to work. I never worried a single day knowing my kids were in her care. Kids Kastle has been our village for many years, all of the teachers are sweet, truly enjoy children, and work hard to keep things FUN. They are very knowledgeable and stay current on licensing standards and go above and beyond the guidelines. As a busy mom, I have appreciated that they were consistently on-time and extremely reliable over the years. I didn't ever have to worry about good quality meals, diapers, or other supplies. The kids always came home covered in paint (meaning they had a blast and played outside a lot!), well fed, with handfuls of projects, and they were both well prepared academically and socially for TK and Kindergarten. Michelle leads with high emotional intelligence, decades of experience in early childhood and unwavering empathy and partnership for all of the ups and downs of raising little ones. She has maintained relationships with families that she cared for many moons ago and I've witnessed those same long-term, multi-sibling relationships blossom with other families we've known during our time there too. Michelle has become more like a bonus family member for our kids (and us) and my older son still RUNS to give her hugs at every chance he gets even though he is in elementary school now. Thank you Michelle for everything you and your entire team have given our family. Our experience at Kids Kastle was so far beyond anything we could have hoped for.

I read a review where a parent was upset because her child couldn't acclimate into the program. She was upset because she felt like it was a waste of her time, helping her child adjust to the program. Michelle Service took the time to explain that the child needed more time to acclimate and needed the family to come in with the child as long as it takes. Putting a child needs above the parents expectations; shows me that Michelle truly cares for their child's well-being; giving me a greater respect for Michelle's Service and her program.

Our family feels that Lyuba and Yelena are stellar child care providers for five reasons. First is cleanliness. This daycare is always very clean, tidy, and hygienic. From the rugs in the playroom to the kitchen space I really value their attention to detail and keeping the space clean. This is a measure of the pride they take in their job. Second are the healthy and delicious home made meals put together for the kiddos. Third is the playground in the backyard. The playground is a tidy and safe place for the kids to spend time and is quite spacious. Fourth is the care they show for the kids- as parents we always have doubts if our kids are being cared for and loved, and on several occasions they've proven this to us through personal interactions that are genuine. Fifth and final, is their childcare experience and practices- I think their approach is traditional yet balances love, patience, protection, guidance and learning. I strongly recommend them for your childcare needs!!

As a full-time working mom of a toddler and pregnant with her second, I have to be very efficient with my time. Before answering basic questions regarding availability and cost, Elianna wanted to schedule a virtual tour. I had already done the vetting I was comfortable with to scheduling a tour, but was unable to find information regarding cost. So naturally, I first wanted to know if she was going to be the right fit both financially and with the timing of when we needed care to start. The message I received back was a big red flag and frankly, offensive. Here is our full conversation if anyone is interested in what you'll get when reaching out Elianna with questions. Elianna C. - "I need more info ? start date? Age ? How many days ? Pick Up dropping off" Me - "Hi there, I am currently pregnant (due in October). My husband and I are looking for child care starting in January 2025 when the baby is roughly 3 months old. I anticipate needing Full Time care, but could probably make do with Part Time care for a bit. What is your availability in January 2025 for a 3 month old? What is the cost for Part Time and Full Time care? Thank you! Best, Nadia" Elianna C. - "Hi there I would like to do a virtual tour this week if possible and talk about your questions. Please let me know what days work for you two . After 5pm" Me - "Hi there, Thank you for the invitation to do a virtual tour. We'd love to schedule something, however, first, we're really looking to see if you'll have availability in January and what the tuition will be. Is that something that you can share with me prior to a virtual tour? Best, Nadia" Elianna C. - "No I don't share a price unless we meet either virtual or in person because you want to see what a program has to offer and you want to compare quality for you child. If I am responding back it's because the availability is there . Or I would Of said there is a wait list but yes if price is your priority then this may not be the right progr for you . I would recommend looking at a place and see if it's a fit all the way around . The quality of care meet the person or staff that will be with your. Child that is very important. Thanks" Me - "Thank you for your time. I think you're right, Tender Loving Preschool Childcare does not sound like the right fit for our family. We value transparency and communication when considering childcare options for the most vulnerable member of our family and it sounds like that is something we would struggle with at your center. I wish you the best. - Nadia" Elianna C. - "Thank you"

Now, at 2.5 yrs he knows numbers, letters, shapes, and is talking non-stop! He LOVES going and waves goodbye to me happily every day at drop off. This is how I know that this is a warm and safe place for my son to learn and grow with people who care about him every day. What I love most about this school is that your child benefits from being with the other older children at a young age. Ms Ellie provides an amazing curriculum throughout the year focusing on academics as well as motor and social/emotional skills. The kids are learning so much every day. She is an excellent communicator and I always know how my son's day went, what he did, what he ate, and if there are any issues she is proactive in communicating them and we speak easily over text and the phone when needed. The food is amazing, and she makes it fresh every day. In addition to Ms Ellie she has amazing family and team members who provide consistent and loving care to the children. Ms Ellie's school is a true gem. Home based daycare can span a wide range of quality, but we are so grateful to have this school for our son where he is thriving. As much as it is hard to be a working parent who can't be with your child all day, having a partner like Ms Ellie and her whole team makes all the difference!

Tara has created such a safe and loving environment for the kids. I toured a lot of places before choosing a spot at Tara's, and it felt right from the first visit. Her home is thoughtfully set up with age-appropriate toys, activities, and plenty of space to play and explore. It was clear every day how much she genuinely cares for the children in her care. As first-time parents, it was a huge relief to have someone as warm, calm, and experienced as Tara. She was always incredibly responsive to our needs, and we felt like partners in our son's care. Whether it was feeding preferences, naps, or little updates throughout the day, we always felt listened to and supported. We're transitioning to a new setup with an au pair this year, but we will always be thankful for the wonderful foundation Tara gave our family. She has such a natural warmth and calm presence, and my son instantly felt safe and comfortable with her. Every day he came home happy, well-fed, and singing new songs he had learned at daycare. It was clear he was engaged, cared for and kept busy with fun activities like dancing, crafts, story time, etc. that helped his development. Tara also kept us in the loop with regular updates and photos, which meant so much to us as first-time daycare parents. The space is clean, inviting, and full of toys and activities that really kept my son stimulated. Most importantly, Tara treated him and us like family. I can't recommend Tara's Daycare enough. She helped our son thrive, and we are so grateful for the love and care she gave him!
