I should have figured I was going to receive top notice service from that point forward. Bound by the fact that it was a warranty call I had to allow the buffoonery to play out. Once the technician looked at the garage door opener that is 8 years old and completely in operative, he came back with "it was a power surge". To back track, I was not at the residence for the service call my tenants were. I received a call from the Dover office attendant (Cathy or something that starts with a C) who first explained that the technician ran test and came up with nothing so it had to be a power surge. I asked her to repeat what she said because it made no sense that an inability to find a direct cause would default to that. I asked directly "are saying that he couldn't find anything so he defaulted to power surge?" She told me "she didn't have to deal with my s#&+" and hung up on me. I called back and asked why she hung up when I was only trying to clearly understand what she was explaining. Also is it customary to speak with customers in that manner under the guidelines of how the company is run? She replied "well you can call corporate" and rattled off the number in a frenzy before hanging up again. To be honest, I'm sure the company won't respond as I just read a 6 month old review describing the exact same type of incident.
