While I won't speak to the quality of the insurance itself, which had its pluses and minuses (I will say I was generally satisfied with it), I was always really impressed with the customer service at this agency. The employees, especially Michele, are pleasant to deal with and really go above and beyond to help resolve problems. I always feel like they're on my side. I have now moved out of state and started renting my property and they are assisting me with finding new insurance as a landlord. The people at the agency have been nothing but helpful and communicative in navigating a fairly tricky process. I will miss this agency, and I never thought I'd be saying that about an insurance agent!

I have used Horner, Wible & Terek for several years in the past. This year I filed taxes by myself…read more I received one of the IRS notifications that I needed to verify my return online. In order to do so, I needed to provide my tax return from last year as well as the supporting documents. I called Horner, Wible & Terek to ask about getting copies of the tax return and documents. Lisa answered the phone and was very helpful........until I advised her that I had not done my taxes through them this year. If you could have heard the condescending tone in her voice, I am sure you would have been upset as well. I don't believe that kindness and good behavior is something that should only be administered to current clients - I believe that it should be a reflection of who you are as a person. Sadly, Lisa did not exhibit that. She did agree to make some of (not all) the information available to me but, advised that she had deadlines so it would have to wait until after April 15th. Her current workload apparently does not permit her to make a few copies, put them in an envelope and put them in the tray for outgoing mail. I am so disappointed to realize that for Horner, Wible & Terek, the only people worthy of decent customer service are the people that continue to pay for their services year after year.

We brought our taxes here and within one week they were straightened out. It turned out H&R Block had been off on our refund by $4,291 - a number I will remember for the rest of my life. We were charged less than half the amount H&R Block originally charged us to do our taxes, we will be going to them with our taxes this year and I would suggest you do that too
