Dr Billy was very patient, warming, and easy to talk to. The office staff also made me feel comfortable in their facility.

Here are the reasons why: - Staff greet you and get you set up. Don't forget Insurance card and ID. - Registration area- Every staff member makes sure you are there for the right test and will call your doctor if there are any issues. They also keep you posted with any changes. -The technicians and staff that does the testing will check again and make sure you are okay before and after the test is done. Yes, trying to get an appointment on the phone is rough and difficult. Do not give up. When calling to schedule appointment we had two tests to be done and could only get appointments with two separate locations. When we got to the appointment and told them what happened, They helped us out and we got both test done here. There is a parking lot with an attendant on premise. Just remember. Tests like PET Scans are done at other another location and not on this site.

When we called back, the x-ray results would normally come out at least after 24 hours. What I don't understand is that when you go to an Urgent Care send a service to you, it's meant to be for URGENT cases. However, today they sent my mother and I through a whole journey, causing us to be a messenger between the Urgent Care and the Radiology. I don't appreciate this at all as it has been a severe pain for both my mother and I who is severely injured. This entire situation that unfolded today really disappointed me, but more importantly angered me due to the fact that there was no sense of urgency for the case with my mom. I served as the messenger between the facilities.

Staff is stellar, front desk young girl had the HIPAA release form waiting for me to get records from another radiology place, as I want to exclusively use this ProHealth location. Another young lady behind the desk also very nice everytime I go there. Technician who does the CT scans and xrays, a wonderful, kind, compassionate, helpful young man, I always get him when I go. Wait times were not even 5 minutes, took me right away, and was out in less than one hour. Thank you ProHealth staff for making my test day a most pleasant one, and I will continue to patronize in the future. Keep up the good work!

I checked in at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. appointment, with the MRI scheduled for 11:30 a.m. At around 11:00 a.m., I was called to the desk and given three bottles of liquid. I was instructed to drink two and a half bottles immediately and save the remaining half bottle for right before the scan. That's nearly 48 ounces of liquid in about 30 minutes. Unsurprisingly, I was running to the bathroom every five minutes after that. At 11:20 a.m., I was called into the MRI area. Things seemed to be moving on schedule. After yet another trip to the restroom, I returned to the MRI room for preparation. Because my exam required images both with and without contrast, an IV had to be inserted. First, I made sure I had removed all metal and even took off my wig. Then, of course, I had to use the bathroom again. The technician administering the exam told me the MRI would take about 20 minutes. Next came the IV placement. I informed the technician that I'm a difficult stick and asked him to make sure he had a good vein before attempting the IV. He assured me he found one in my right arm. He hadn't. Then he tried my left arm and again confidently said he had found a vein. He hadn't. When he prepared for a third attempt, I told him that if he couldn't get it this time, I would proceed without the contrast. Thankfully, he called in another staff member, who found a vein on the first try. Then came the MRI itself. I was in the machine for at least 35 minutes--far longer than the 20 minutes I had been told to expect. During the scan, I informed the staff that I urgently needed to use the bathroom. They told me there were only two minutes left, which somehow turned into another five minutes. By the end of it all, I was simply relieved that the exam was over. Between being required to chug an excessive amount of liquid in a short period of time, the repeated IV attempts, the inaccurate time estimates, and the lack of consideration for my discomfort, this was easily the worst MRI experience I've ever had. I will not be returning to this location and, if I can avoid it, I won't be scheduling another MRI here.

MRI images are highly detailed in high contrast, like X-RAYS of the Future! After filling out all the paperwork, and a short office wait, you go into a changing room. You must remove All your clothes and jewelry and ANY metal objects. Leave your Phone ..(God no!) And all your belongings behind in the changing room. Which is locked as you leave You'll be in the height of fashion, wearing.. only your .. little white Hospital gown. You know the type, with the OPEN back that's tied with the string! Watch out !! Can't you Feeeeel that draft?! After you enter the MRI room. No metal allowed. The guy told me that metal would get sucked into the magntomiter, I envisioned a whirling "Black Hole" pent up inside this thing, Just waiting for someone wearing metal to come along...Hahahaha.. Hold on..!! You actually need me to get inside that little thing? Holy claustrophobia Batman. And what's that you're also saying?? This thing could be REALLY loud ? So use these ear plugs? The guy was really nice, and gave me a little emergency button to press while I was in the belly of the Beast..just in case I couldn't take it anymore. I thanked the MRI Technician for candy coating the experience to come for me. Go ahead I can take it, I told him. "Great sir, I'm glad you're up for it" he said .."I just need you to ALSO wear this GIANT restrictive collar device during the whole procedure". Oh boy. In was really like being wedged into the tiny hole of a piece of Swiss cheese with a lawnmower on your head while wearing an cone dog collar for 20 minutes. Yup, that's all. Cool I'm in! I just closed my eyes during the process and went away to my happy place for awhile. This really helps, because the reality of having a GIANT loud magnet spinning around your head isn't enjoyable. But while the experience wasn't comfortable it was tolerable and definitely not terrible. After the procedure you return to the changing room for your clothes and personal effects. A nice limo was waiting in the parking lot to return us home. Done... easier than we thought. Thanks again to the Staff and Doctors at FAST Care ! We'll have our results soon.
