Worst banking experience ever! TTCU does not even have the most basic fraud alerts set up, zero…read moredetection, zero checks, and no protection. I had a savings account and there were several fraudulent charges by criminals out of Hong Kong as shown on the statement. I contacted TTCU and they refused to protect me, they would not close the account, they would not stop withdraws and deposits, nothing, they refused to take any action to protect me. I asked what my options were and they said I had to stay exposed until all chargers were investigated and they confirmed this meant the thieves could keep stealing! I had to go in person to close the account and they initially refused to allow me to close the account! I had been a TTCU member for several decades with very large deposits, but no more!

They are happy to research transactions, coordinate donations for a local family, donate to the police and fire departments of Disney. I much prefer using these institutions to big banks, because they just have a lot more ethics and they actually care about each of their customers and they're much more of a small-time type thing. This one is a pretty big and impressive building out in the middle of nowhere in the Tiny Village of Claremore - but they're definitely more ethical and better for the users than banks are. Banks used to be cool but these days if you want good value instead of getting shafted by endless hidden fees, go to a credit union.
