There's a lot of love in that church. There is a great children's ministry as well for people who have children who want to be able to sit down and enjoy the service and not have to watch their kids they have the ability to go to a children's church so they are actively involved in service that keeps them engaged and you can be involved in your service and get your edification as well. It's so important that you grow in your life with Christ. The only reason why I gave it four stars instead of five it's just that I wish that they would allow everyone who wishes to sing in there praise and worship team could do so, unfortunately this not the case even if they have a beautiful voice. But everything else is Rock solid. The music is beautiful great inspiring it gets you moving and gets you involved. If you're in the Rotterdam area Curry road off of 890 this is a great church to go to try it out. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. Thank you so much for listening.

Then when I tried to speak up an add input about there baptism there, she basically told me to shout up. But yet allowed another at a different table speak when she was done n didn't have any intentions of coming back to me. when what I had to say would have helped. I felt unwanted at this church AT CHURCH in all places !!! The one place you're supposed to feel welcomed I felt unwelcome. I had to leave respectfully. She's a pastor n she lied to my face saying she left our table cause she had to speak her announcements but she didn't!! she left n went to say hi to another table! The ladys came to speak to me in the hall n only wanted to state what they believed n that she's not that way but God knows the truth that she did that. Yes she's human too but she's also a leader n should be more respectful in gods name. God says to for give so I'll do that but I don't want to go where a pastors wife treats me like I'm dirt. But yet god still calls me to go there that there's something to learn there regardless of the pastors wife Deb. God is in control n has much to teach me.

Some tombstones located on the church ground date back to the 18th century. There are masses and prayer services every day for those who wish to partake. On Sunday the is a 9:00 high mass complete with incense and chiming bells. A less formal experience can be found at the 11:15 family mass. Father Paul Blanch is the rector of the church and unlike the rest of the Diocese, St. George's goes out of its way to include members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender communities. All the information you need can be found on St. George's website. There is an eclectic mix of parisoners which makes St. George's a unique and very special place.

Music is an integral part of the worship and is of very high quality. The building itself is fascinating, as it was originally constructed in the 1700s, and is situated in Schenectady's historic Stockade district. It's an active church, with many opportunities for fellowship, fun, and ways to help the community. Definitely not a situation where you finish the last hymn and flee for the exits! People fall in love with St. George's because of its beauty and history, and then they stick around for the learning, the dedication to service, and the sense of belonging. It's truly a gem and a respite from the stress and negativity of today's world.
