Each member of the visiting nursing staff was cordial, compassionate, empathetic, and responsive to my friend's needs throughout the transition, and her knowing that she would pass on in familiar surroundings contributed to a much more calming and comfortable experience than if she had been in a hospital or a hospice facility. Several times during the experience at very odd hours, we called Arkansas Hospice for advice or assistance, and the assigned hospice nurse showed up quickly and with a caring and concerned demeanor each and every time. I can not think of one single thing that Arkansas Hospice could have done better to make a very difficult period as comfortable as possible not only for our beloved friend, but for her care team of family and friends as well. A heartfelt and sincere thank you to the wonderful staff at Arkansas Hospice.
