They have wonderful pastors/teachers. Yes....it is a large church, but you can be as little or as much involved as you want to be. They do have contemporary music that is wonderful; but I do wish they sung traditional hymns just ever now and then....if with the upbeat music. They do have an early and later Sunday service that are identical. Grace and peace to all!

It's a small parish, with warm, welcoming parishioners, and a priest who tries to make everyone feel included and important. The priest asked anyone visiting for the first time to stand, which we did. The entire church clapped, one of the parishioners brought us a welcome letter, and parishioners standing near us welcomed us and thanked us for coming. I also thought it was special how, at the end of mass, the priest called all the kids up to get the bulletins for their families. They also had children signing (not singing) the words to the ending hymn. How awesome to get the kids involved in some way from a young age. We would love to return to Our Lady of Good Counsel when in Little Rock, and highly recommend it to all looking for a good church to call home.

All praises to God, I became FULLY Catholic last Saturday at the Easter Vigil. This community has been a blessing that I will never forget. They are great at responding to emails (and calls). The OCIA program was great! It's open to everyone, even if you have no intention on becoming Catholic or if you are already Catholic but would like to learn more! The website has great up-to-date information as well. The most beautiful Catholic Church in Little Rock! Architecture, Iconography, and THE PEOPLE! I personally love the Our Lady of Guadalupe and of course the Adoration Chapel. Peace, Love, & Blessings in Christ, Tony
