It's amazing when we find these type of gems in the middle of nowhere, like East Glacier. The Breakfast Braid with the eggs, potatoes, green onions, cheese was unlike anything I've ever had. It was full of savory flavor and very generous portion. Next, the pumpkin donut which is actually a pumpkin loaf shaped like a donut was so perfectly balanced with cinnamon and pumpkin spice. Lastly, the main event and the reason we visited this place was because of the Grizzly. This muffin shaped pastry filed with huckleberry and cream cheese was so awesome! It lived up to its hype. Man! I wish this place wasn't so far from everything. We got one more night here and we are definitely eating here tomorrow morning (September 12, 2025).

The thing about Glacier is that nearly all surrounding businesses are owned by a company called Pursuit which brings in about 75% young international workers who can't drive on their J-1 visas. Because they can't drive, they're captive to the area they live in, oftentimes in very poor living conditions. Because of this, they act somewhat like zombies who are homesick and incapable of providing a home-like atmosphere. Places like Glacier's Edge stand out because they're locally owned--and the quality is so much better for it. Bathrooms were also clean.
