Dean is a very good attorney and cares about his clients. I received a settlement much higher than I expected. I do wish we had pushed for more money for ongoing Doctor visits/consultations due to the pain I am still in. I will be needing a 2nd knee replacement very soon and that is going to be hard for me to function on a daily basis. Dean did an EXCELLENT job overall. I need to still set up a Trust in case unforeseeable circumstances happen. Thanks Dean!! read more

This is the worst attorney office I have ever dealt with. They are highly unprofessional and repeatedly mislead clients just to avoid responsibility and charge more money. I would not recommend their services to anyone. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ACCIDENT CASE TO THIS OFFICE. THEY ARE SCAM read more

I'm in new client and I'm going through a difficult time right now. I have spoke to many of the people there in this location. I have to tell you about a couple of the employees there their names are so closely alike, Emma and Emmi. I needed some help and I really wasn't really too sure where to get the help and so I came across this wonderful young lady named Emma. Emma I just want to say thank you for all your hard work and dedication not only as an employee also an asset to this company. A person who has empathy and is doing an awesome job for this company. You said to me you're only there for a couple days out of the week which is very unfortunate. I would like to deal with you every single time I call if that would be possible. Anyway, I'm giving you 10 stars on this review because you went above and beyond with a great heart and you helped me. Emmi you're very sweet and nice and you tried to help me. I understand that you were very limited that day. I want to tell you thank you for having reached out and attempted all that you could with the small time frame that you had. I hope your boss reads this review and acknowledges that you two are great individuals. It takes people like you two to make the world a better place. I am very much so happy to say I would refer any of my friends or family to this law group. They are of Great value and quality! Thank you so much First Law group. Thank you accountant, behind the scenes making it happen. I never formally spoke to you. Even though you were behind the scenes, I acknowledge you and thank you for all your the hard work and dedication. You too are greatly appreciated. A satisfied client, Eva. read more

When I first got in my accident, I was with another law firm that wasn't doing anything for me or my case, but to go from that law firm to First Law Group was a total change it and change of being felt like I actually mattered to somebody because they treat you like family there. What Hana and Dean were able to do for me if there's nothing short of amazing I can't express enough gratitude to Hana and Dean and the whole staff at First Law Group for everything they did for me in multiple cases. I would recommend these fine people to anybody any day of the week because they put their heart and soul into every bit of work they can to help you feel like you matter and you're not just another statistic for them or a walking $$$$il i actually established a relationship that made me feel like family and I thank you guys very much for everything you've done for me. You guys rock!!!10 stars in my book! read more

Do NOT use this office for your accident attorney! They never answer phone calls, and they never follow up or keep you updated. The level of unprofessionalism here is off the charts, and their customer service is absolutely terrible. I highly do NOT recommend them at all. read more

I had an amazing experience. Attorney Vanessa herself and Emilia made sure everything was going smoothly in our case and made as fast and as stress free for me as possible. I highly recommend their services!! read more

The best law firm ever, I've been with them since 2016, they provide a high quality service.

First law group represented my father and they did an excellent job. Alejandro, Sarah and Ali went above and beyond for for him in his case. I highly suggest them for any of your needs. They handled the process with ease and communicated everything thoroughly step by step. I will definitely use them again in the future if the situation presents itself. Thanks again! read more

Vanessa was very professional and communicative throughout the whole process. Always a step ahead.

I am a Chiropractic Administrator in Oxnard and I had the pleasure of speaking with Sarah K, legal assistant at this firm. She was so helpful, very informed of her clients and was patient and didn't brush me off as most legal assistants are short and not very pleasant. Sarah was helpful, made sure sheet e got back go me while on hold and has such a sweet voice. I'd hire her on the spot. read more

They took on my accident , it was in 2017 . . They got me a settlement but are very vague on Details . I signed the paperwork for it 2 months ago . Still no word . The receptionist has no clue that can help me. So my question is .... Did "my" lawyer rip me off ????? read more

First Law group handled a vehicular collision for one of my family members. This is a very stressful situation and you need quality people that know what they're doing. This law firm is fair and will definitely work in your best interest. They have the personnel to keep you informed about your case throughout the process. read more

Whatever you do, do not go to this attorney's office they are very unprofessional and have a lack of communication. I personally called and let them know that and when I did the receptionist just started laughing as if it was a joke. I had a really good case going where a car hit me but I guess they had a problem with the attorney that I was working with from their office and when The attorney moved offices he took my case with him. Keep in mind that the whole time I thought I was doing my case with first law group. Never once did they tell me that I wasn't going to be with them anymore or just anything in general to update me on to what was going on. Until finally I got my small settlement check which probably should have been more from another office with a different name on it which had me wondering what the hell was going on. This law firm played me. Like I said overall I had a bad experience with this company and this law firm. Your best bet is going with someone else do not give them your business. read more

I would never recommend this firm to anybody, they never answer my calls or get back to me, I have left at lest 10 voice messages and no answer, the worse experience in customer service in my life so far, the name of the person in charge of my case is Dean Hakkak, he's the worse of all of them, please look somewhere else. read more

I was recommended to this firm after sustaining a traumatic car accident which happened during the holidays. At first being bullied by the insurance company of the person who caused this accident I saw that Dean jumped into action to begin assist a fair and balanced recovery for me. Dean and his team were always there to answer any questions I had at any time. Obviously due to the pandemic it caused the court systems to fall back behind on so many cases but I know the team here wanted to do their best in getting the best outcome for me which they truly have. They don't treat you like a number figure here but truly care for your overall well being. I would absolutely recommend this place to make sure you're well taken care of by a team of experts! read more

I'm upset at Dean for not following through with my bankruptcy. I reached out to him a year and a half before the date I wanted my bankruptcy to be filed and he kept giving me pushback. He knew how important it was for me for the bankruptcy to be filed before October 2022 & I even had paid in full. I kept reaching out and he kept giving me pushback. According to him, he wanted to delay it since I have student loans and wanted to see how it will work with the loan forgiveness. Honestly, I wanted to file for bankruptcy and deal with my student loan separately. I started to research other law firms but I have trust issues believing in lawyers. I'm upset that I trusted him and believed he will do his job. Now it stresses me more since now it's complicated to file for bankruptcy for personal reasons. I reached out to his former partner and he was upset and told me Dean makes promises and doesn't follow through. Dean finally answered my phone calls around May/ June of 2023 and told me he was going to help me. I gave him chances to work with him but till this day he hasn't answered my calls or texts. He reimbursed my money and promised he will file for bankruptcy 0$ cost. The reason I remained with Dean was because he was referred by a family member. Today I received a letter and texted and called him and he didn't respond. My experience with Dean in filling for bankruptcy has been stressful and has affected me in my personal life. I waited and waited and told him I will appreciate it if he can let me know he can't work with me but he hasn't respond. Personally, do your research if you want to work with Dean and his firm. read more

First Law Group - My happy family - Personal Injury Law Near Me - Covina, California

This law group has been great since we first contacted them about a car accident. about four years ago they have delivered and worked very hard to ensure a great outcome. We have had other cases in regards to my kids injuries the attorney. and all the office personnel have worked very hard on all the cases and the outcome was very satisfactory. Especially Hanadi Kriedli has kept in touch through every step of my kids cases. She was always helpful. she was very diligent and explaining the process of every case. She kept us in the clear and full transparent. She is very caring and understanding even in dealing with young kids. I would like to say thank you for being there for my boys and my family. I would recommend this law office to everyone because when they say something they deliver they're always on top on everything they always provide you with the best advice and experts and resources to ensure a great outcome thank you very much. read more

I highly recommend First Law Group if you ever find yourself in need of an accident attorney. My case was given to First Law Group after my actual lawyer gave up on my case because the damage to my car wasn't sufficient for them. But First Law Group believed in me and in my injuries and got me the reimbursement that I needed. They did not give up and kept fighting for me. They always made me feel comfortable and made sure I understood everything that was going on. Very friendly. I am very happy and thankful to them and would recommend them to all my family and friends if ever needed. read more

Again if I could give your business no Stars I would. It's been about a year that I've heard from ANYONE from your office! I have called several times numerous occasions since my last Yelp Review and I have gotten nowhere with your company. Your entire office has been unprofessional and unethical. I was highly recommended by a very close friend of mine which has left them with embarrassment. As I've read your reviews, seems like I'm not the only one with dissatisfaction with the way your business is ran. Wish I could have said the contrary about your business but it's disappointing when you can't have any type of communication or dependability with a business who is suppose to represent you. read more

We are very disappointed with First Law Firm. The employees constantly change, it's ridiculous! my husband"s case has been passed to 5 people now. These people tell you something and then change it up, We are currently working with another attorney to have our case transferred. The girls helping the attorney are not professional and when you leave a message sometimes they call back or not at all. I have a neighbor that I recommend at the beginning and he will be leaving too! They blame different things for the case taking long. For our case they were waiting on medical bills they said they requested 5 months ago turns out we called all the places my husband has been two and only two places were contacted! Ridiculous that what this Law Firm is ! The girl that was handling our case quit . The assistants each deal with like 25 cases or more each where they can not give individual attention. Regret the day we signed up with this Law Firm It has been a year and nothing ! this is why we are filling papers out to get our case out of First Law Firm .Stat away nothing but excuses you will get !! read more

Dean Hakkak and his team did a great job following up on my case with the other insurance company, police, etc. They set us up a few sessions to review the facts and did a rehearsal with me for the court trials. I gave this firm a five-star review because they truly deserve it! I'll get right to the point about 4 years ago I had an accident happened at Nordstrom's where a weighted purse stand fell off the top shelf and hit me in the face causing a concussion and facial nerve damage. Dean Hakkak and his team went above and beyond to get me the money I deserved. I was so happy that I got referred over to him from another lawyer that was in over his head. Nordstrom's had a tough law team and I wasn't expecting to get what I got but he really took the bull by the horns! I hopefully will never have to use him again for a lawsuit but if I do I know who to call! I will be keeping his personal phone number because he was more than just a lawyer he was a caring friend and still is. I have some underlying health conditions that he not only understood but also sincerely cared about myself and my family. As soon as this stupid covid-19 thing is over our families are getting together for a nice dinner. read more

Some jerk hit me on the 605. He wasn't even sorry about it. Anyway, this office really did a good job for me. They were always available and didn't mind answering all my questions. The lawyers personally would speak to me about my case and helped me understand what was occurring throughout the process. Even better, I ended up with a good chunk of money! I would definitely recommend these guys. read more

Ok, I can't speak for other people. But this law firm is a fckn joke. I had a case with them during the covid pandemic. At first the lawyer(Marista) was very nice and helpful, and the communication was constants. I came to FLG with a case I had where I had torn my left rotary cuff in my left shoulder. After providing some information as requested. Months had passed with no word from FLG. I then had to chase them down, with emails and phone calls, only to be told Marista was busy or out of the office. So I once abrasively contacting them. I was informed they were missing information, which I provided only to never hear from them again. My question was if you did not want to take my case, then they should have the decency to advise me, instead of acting like some little bitches and not contacting me. I would never refer this law group to anybody. I'm like all they had to do was contact me. So, here I am writing this shitty review about them. I have some other choice words but I'll keep those to myself. read more
