Regular nail polish dented Two hours after manicure!
    Tullia T.

Ok when using gel manicure. I had three manicures with regular nail polish that took hours to dry and ended up with multiple nails dented. The last manicure I went back to have the affected nails redone and they also did not dry in a normal span of time. They seem aware of the problem, but don't do anything to fix it.

Been coming since Covid for pedis with my mom. Staff are always friendly and welcoming, and we love the paraffin pedi! Today, I got a gel manicure here for the first time. Looks beautiful, super happy with how it came out. Love this place

I always come here for lashes and wax. Lately I have been getting my nails done here too. Kelly and the whole staff are amazing. They Always do a great job! Everyone is friendly and I always leave happy.

My friend and I have gone to First Lady Nails a few times now. The first picture is when we both got full sets and the second picture is when I got a fill (yes--I loved it so much that I went back and got the same manicure filled!). The third is when I got ombré and loved it!! Kelly is great for a full set--she's meticulous and precise but also timely with it and they're sure to provide you with what you're looking for for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!! :)

One of the best manicures I have ever had. They took so much time and did a fabulous job.

I gave a picture of what I wanted and they delivered and exceeded my expectations. Halloween is just around the corner so I wanted demon slayer's Nezuko ombré inspired nails. I will leave the image I showed and the results, absolutely in love with them :)

I had a pleasant time getting my nails done here. Very warm and inviting with plenty of conversation amongst everyone. Mask mandatory. Nancy did my gel manicure and gel pedicure both French tips. She was super nice, took her time, and was very intent on making sure I was comfortable. For example, confirming water temperature for soaking my feet and being gentle with pressure when filing my nails. This was especially important because my nails were very damaged, sensitive, and short from having acrylics prior. This was my first time here and I will be returning.

First time coming here and definitely coming back! $45 for a gel acrylic. Super busy on Friday midday!

Last minute decided to get my nails done for my trip to Hawaii. Came in Friday midday and waited about 10 minutes to get sat. It was super busy but the employees were very nice. $45 for a gel acrylic set. Definitely coming back.

Definitely one of my least favorite sets of nails I've had :( I was excited to try this place since I'm not from the area but ended up leaving with a very inconsistent dip set

PERFECT white manicure, perfect margins, not too thick, no uneven spots

Perfect manicure by Helen. I love white nails but every tiny imperfection would show. If the polish is too thick or the white is applied uneven, or the edges aren't perfect, it would show. Helen took her time to give me a PERFECT manicure, even by my very picky standards.

WHY DO I KEEP COMING BACK HERE?? This is even worse than last time LOL. I keep giving First Lady the benefit of the doubt because of how much everyone else loves them, but I legit never have a good experience here. We made an appointment for 1:30PM and arrived on time. Pretty packed with more people coming in by the minute. They appear to overestimate the number of people they can service, because they kept adding people onto their list when they were already full. These nails are HELLA sloppy. She filed them super quickly and when I asked her to correct them, she said that they were just supposed to look like that. GIRL........... I know these aren't supposed to have ragged edges like that. The bottom is so rough and they didn't even file down my natural nail. I gave her a reference picture of what I wanted, and she said she could do it. What I didn't know was that she only had rose-gold foil, not gold. Not a huge deal but misleading, since she put on the white polish before I knew. I had to keep asking her to adjust the gold lines so that they weren't crooked... I could tell that she was frustrated and trying to get me out of there, but HONESTLY, THAT'S MY MONEY LOL. If I'm going to pay a whole extra $6 for these tiny gold stickers, I want to make sure they're perfect. My nail tech cut them wonky anyways, they don't go over the whole nail. And even when she put UV-treated top coat over them, they started peeling off the next day. My friend was unhappy with her nails, too. Her nail tech was rough filing her cuticles and all her nails are different shapes... She said that the worker was also speeding through her gel nails on her left side, applying the polish all streaky and not even fully covering the whole nail. The staff at First Lady seem like they treat their regulars way better. The same nail tech who was rushing my friend's nails was suddenly able to use precise, gentle brush strokes when a familiar customer came in. I get it that you have to keep your regular clientele happy, but y'all should care about new business, too.

    Little toe damage example.

Ask the Community - First Lady Nails

Anyone know how much it is for gel on toes?

I believe it's $15 more than whatever pedicure you choose.

Can this place apply an acrylic set on nails that have been bitten very short?

I'm sure they can because they'll glue on an artificial one at the tip of the nail then they'll put acrylics over the whole nail and artificial one.

Do you guys do sculpted nails with forms rather than plastic tips?

    We do not

Does anyone know how much its for a fill on acrylics?

$20 for regular polish, $30 for gel

Does anyone have price/recommendations for a specific pedicure I should get from here?

Does anyone know how much a gel full set costs?

    $35

The work was always rough, but it was cheap, so I ignored it. This time I wanted both my hands and feet done before a weekend trip to LA, and I specifically chose a very simple polka dot design because I already knew not to expect good hand-drawn art here. Things started going wrong immediately. While I was getting my pedicure, the woman doing my nails came over and started gluing on nail tips while literally standing beside me. Because of the angle she was working from, the nail shapes were completely crooked. She didn't even cure them properly with the lamp at that point. Then I looked at my toes after the pedicure and was shocked. I still had an old extension left on one of my big toenails from a previous set, and instead of properly removing it first, they just painted and worked over it. One side had already come off because I removed it myself earlier, while the other side was still attached. Instead of removing the remaining extension and fixing it properly, they just painted over everything. The lengths didn't even match between the two toes. There were visible flaws everywhere. The manicure experience was even worse. The technician kept making me cure my nails under the UV lamp nonstop for over 20 minutes, basically one hand constantly under the light. When I got home that night, my nail beds were hurting badly. Typing, touching my phone screen, or putting pressure on my fingers was painful. It genuinely felt like my fingers had been burned from overexposure. On top of that, the attitude was terrible. At one point she messed up an entire row of polka dots, and when I politely asked her to redo it, she looked visibly annoyed. She didn't even clean it properly before painting over it again. As more customers came in, you could clearly feel the rush and impatience. She just wanted to finish as quickly as possible regardless of quality. I'm not someone with extremely high standards. I only expected basic nail shaping and clean work. Instead, the nail shape looked terrible, there was no structure or apex at all, and the final result honestly looked worse than if I had done nothing. The quality, the carelessness, and the attitude were unacceptable. I ended up disputing the charge with my bank because the service was that bad.
