This is the original and definitely best store of the franchise. I have been an annual customer of theirs since 2006, when I purchased my first leather boots. I have been taking in my boots for servicing every summer. They repair the bottoms (sometimes changing the original), repair zippers, paint, wax, and other things.Thanks to their services, my boots from 2006 took me from high school till the middle of graduate school and were retired in 2014. I purchased another pair of brown boots after discarding these and Salmander customized these too. I will be repairing a purse from 2010 this year.
