First Interstate Bank took care of a deposit that was lost for several hundred dollars. We could not determine where it was lost and they immediately reimbursed us. I am sorry to say that after 3 years as a customer I am closing my account with this bank and I opened an account at Wells Fargo. I recently obtained a home loan through this bank and it was the worst financial experience of my life. A 30 day escrow took 9 weeks, there was no respect for timelines, contracts, contingencies, etc. I had to pay $1,600 in late fees because it took so long for this bank to get their act together. Had this bank made any effort to acknowledge that a 9 week long wait for a loan was unacceptable and made an effort to at least reduce my fees I would have stayed. But no, they seem to think they are the only bank in town. Good bye. read more
