I have been a customer of First Eagle for about 2 years now and I have absolutely no complaints at all. I have had a couple of financial set-backs these past 2 years that made things rough for me including issues created by this COVID disaster and Rick and Nikki have been awesome through it all and willing to work with me to get things back on track. This establishment is a very poor excuse for a business. We have been loyal customers and making on time payments for over two years with them. We have never had issues with payment before now. Ms Perez had called my husband and was being rude to him over the phone due to a check we wrote getting returned (which it shouldn't have been returned, and we've never had issues with our checks before). My husband is at work and called to let me know what was going on and had asked me if I could call and talk to someone to get it taken care of. When I had called I asked to speak to a Manager and Ms Perez proceeded to tell me that I could just talk to her (she is NOT a manager) but that she wouldn't let us pay with checks anymore. I was explaining that we've been good customers and have never had any issues prior and that it was unprofessional of her to be so rude to my husband over the phone. Not only did she NOT APPOLOGIZE for the way she had handled the situation, she cut me off and interrupted me, AGAIN, and said "I'm not rude." Wow. I really cannot believe the service, how Ms Perez handled the situation, and the blatant disrespect and disregard for customers that have been superb in making payments over the last 2 years. Needless to say we will be trying to find a new loan payment company due to the lack of unprofessionalism and how rude the staff is. Completely unacceptable. I would NEVER recommend this loan company to anybody that I know. This establishment really needs to have different employees and management that is respectful to their customers, listens to concerns or issues, apologizes when a customer is upset, and work on being professional in their work and business rather than flat out rude. It was baffling how rude Ms Perez was and not once apologizing for her actions or the fact that we were upset. Awful, awful, AWFUL customer service. WOW. Not only that, after speaking with their manager, Mr Kelly, they were STILL rude. I don't know what is wrong with this business. At first Mr Kelly was helpful and friendly-- besides the fact that he kept putting me on hold-- which I was very understanding of because it was lunch time and they were short staffed. I totally get that. Mr Kelly even apologized for the way Ms Perez was acting towards my husband and myself over the phone. Mr Kelly informed me of a $25 returned check fee. When I was doing the math we had a total of $40 in fees. When I was trying to clarify what the fees were for and I was asking if I was also getting a $15 late fee which would make sense because that would equal out to the $40 in fees. Mr Kelly was interrupting and talking over me telling me I needed to get a calculator and it would be easy (which wasn't the issue in the first place, I'm not dumb knew it equaled $40, I was just clarifying what the fees were for exactly) and I politely said, "Please don't interrupt me sir, I'm trying to explain what I'm understanding is correct or not for the fees." He then RAISED his voice at me yelling, "I AM TRYING TO WORK WITH YOU! IF YOU WOULD JUST GET A CALCULATOR." I responded with, "Wow. That was extremely rude and very unprofessional." He proceeded by continuing to yell, "DONT YOU EVEN TALK TO ME ABOUT BEING PROFESSIONAL! AND I APOLOGIZED FOR THE WAY MS PEREZ WAS ACTING WHEN I DONT EVEN KNOW THE CONVERSATION THAT TOOK PLACE OR WHAT WAS SAID. WE ARE DONE!" EXCUSE ME?! What the hell kind of excuse of a business is this?! Working as a manager in a customer service job for nearly 6 YEARS before becoming a stay at home mom, I have NEVER felt more disrespected and frustrated by another person or an establishment, in my LIFE-- EVER! I seriously cannot believe the blatant disrespect, disregard, and absolutely disgusting mannerisms of the people working at this establishment. It is sickening the way they "handled" this situation. Do not waste your time, money, and frustrations on this "business". You will be sorely disappointed. If I could give a zero star rating, I would. We will definitely be looking into getting a new loan company. I am SO disgusted and disappointed in the service we received, especially after years of being loyal and on-time-paying customers and this being the first issue that arose. I have been a customer of First Eagle funding Corp, for 10 years. I have paid off 2 vehicles and now I am on my third. I have been a customer that always pays on time and have never had any problems whatsoever with this Company. In fact Rick has bent over backwards and solved a major issue I had with my current vehicle. Since I have been a repeat customer and never had any payment issues with them, when my engine went out in my vehicle after only having it for 2 months Rick found me a refurbished engine with less miles than my original engine and arranged for it to be installed. I was without a vehicle for 4 days and when I got my vehicle back it was like brand new. For all those who post negative reviews maybe you should make your payments on time keep your vehicle insured. And they will be there for you. I am an example of a Happy repeat customer. I am just so sad right now. I'm not going to get all into detail, but when buying my car through American auto sales it was a great experience and I gave an amazing review to everybody in that building. It's sad to say that Since paying my down payment and having to deal with first eagle finance I cannot say my feelings are the same. Besides Nikki these people are very very rude And disrespectful individuals. For me to be contacting them regarding my payments always answering my phone and making sure that they know what's going on. I do not understand why I have to be spoken to as if I'm beneath them. I really wish I did not finance this vehicle but since I did I just hope to get it paid off as soon as I can. The sooner I can cut ties with these people the less anxiety I will have. Please steer clear Of first eagle financing And if that is the only company that American auto sales deals with I would avoid them to. read more
