First Community Bank really does put the community first.
These guys are so kind, so nice. They really did help out the community following Hurricane Harvey! After the storm, the city of Rockport was without power for a few weeks. They were one of the first businesses to get out there and help the community. As we were digging out from the storm, without water, cell service, or electricity, First Community Bank set up in the parking lot, offering up ice water, sausage wraps, bags of chips and fruit to anyone who needed help. They gave me plenty to eat and offered me a patch of shade to sit and get out of the sun.
They immediately set up a facility to cash checks- even though they had no electricity. There was a low dollar limit on the checks, but it really helped out people who were needing to collect their paycheck in the aftermath of the storm.
The tellers and bank managers are all extremely friendly and helpful.
The bank also has beautiful oleander bushes out front of the building, which makes the place look nice.
I really am thankful for all the help that First Community offers when it really counts! read more
