Dr. Manley has been my chiropractor my entire life. I have parents that really believe in the…read morewellness of chiropractic care and we have been coming here for general health and for various injuries I've suffered in the past. A few years ago I dislocated a few ribs and Dr. Manley made sure I was not only comfortable, but my treatments were as pain-free as possible. He took great care of me and now I have zero issues with my ribs. Recently I've been going to Dr. Obbink for acupuncture. I knew nothing about the practice and he spent a good deal of time explaining it to me in terms and metaphors that I absolutely understood. He is very kind, personable, and professional. As is Dr. Manley. I rarely have to wait when I go. Even if you do their waiting areas are wonderful and the doctors' staff takes great care of you. This clinic also has an arrangement of vitamins and supplements you can purchase, along with shoe insoles and flip-flops that don't completely kill your back by the end of the day. I'll be going to this doctor until they retire and I'll for sure trust whomever they choose to replace them.

He takes the time to understand what is happening, does a thorough assessment while cognizant of what your insurance does or does not pay for, he matches interventions to your lifestyle so they are manageable, and he genuinely cares about his patients. His adjustments are gentle yet effective, and always gave relief from the problems I saw him for. He is not one of those chiropractors that keep you coming back when you don't need it--yet they always managed to get me in when something flared up. (People with chronic back problems understand how that goes.) The support staff is friendly and efficient. I was always out of there in less than 40 minutes, unless I had a massage before my adjustment (LMT Rod got out kinks I've had for years--aaahhhhh). Dr. Obbink is good, too (just not my regular physician)-gentle and knowledgeable, plus he does acupuncture and I've heard good things about his results. I have moved away and Dr. Manley's care is one of the things I miss the most.

I cannot recommend Kelsey highly enough. As an Army veteran, I have my fair share of…read moremusculoskeletal issues. Massage, acupuncture, and chiropractic care have offered me the greatest relief but with massage, there are many different types. I'll be honest in that I haven't had a simple relaxation massage from Kelsey. What sets her far apart from the rest in my book is her gift (it's much more than a talent) with therapeutic massage. There's a difference between a massage for relaxation vs therapeutic purposes and within the therapeutic realm there are different sub-types. I started going to Kelsey when I had muscle issues and she did a fantastic job of relieving bound muscles so I as in less pain and had a greater range of motion. Once we moved past that phase it was time to really dig in, and Kelsy's knowledge is amazing. She's done work shifting the location of muscle bundles that were lying in the wrong places and she's done tendonal reset work. I went in to see her one day hardly able to move my shoulder. I showed her and she could see that in order to raise my arm I would engage other muscles and partially dislocate my shoulder in order to raise my arm. She gladly accepted the challenge and found the source of a bunch of the issues. She was able to get muscle bands to shift location which freed them up to work properly and it was amazing. I'm not gonna lie - I made plenty of goofy faces while she had her thumb rammed halfway through my torso. That being said, when I got home I noticed that I had greater range of motion (and pain free!) on the side that had been almost unusable than I did on the side that was what I consider "normal!" My son works at a Hy-Vee distribution center and hauls over a ton of product per day by hand as he builds pallets to ship to stores. It's taken a toll on his body and I sent him to Kelsey to see what she could do. She spent most of the time focused on his arms and it made a real difference for him. Some masseuses can only do basic relaxation massage and some can add in cups or hot rocks or whatever. Kelsey can do these as well as the very engaging therapeutic massage that require significantly greater knowledge and ability. She's blended some of these techniques to produce a tailored experience that best addresses my physical issues and I can't recommend her highly enough. Regardless whether you're just tense and need to relax or if your body is something of a basket case and you don't want to "take this pill, cut this body part out" approach of traditional western medicine, Kelsey should be your go-to guru. @Kelsey: If you happen to read this, know that I'll be back soon!
