We were instantly impressed by the energy of the church and how involved everyone was in active worship. First Baptist Church of Bluffton is an experience in fellowship. From the coffee at the door to the ladies at the welcome table, this church is focused on making Christian living apart of everyday life instead of one Sunday a week without being pushy. Mark is able to bring the Bible to life and show the congregation messages in passages that I have read dozens of times. Even though the congregation has people of all ages - you can tell that they are young and energized in their approach to the worship of God.

Its very painful and this church should stop blasting there music so I am able to go back. I am actually in my 40's and I am unsure how I got tinnitus but I used to blast my music all my life . Bring a notebook, because each sermon is expertly prepared by Dr. Broggi. A side note- we do not know when an unborn child gets a soul, God loves all people and desires all to be saved but He does hate sin (including homosexual, polygamous, and unmarried heterosexual sex) and women pastors are not to hold spiritual authority over men and God gives us the example of Adam and Eve showing that this was not a suggestion to one church but a command to all churches. If you have been born again and know 100% you are going to heaven based on Jesus' completed work, then search the scriptures humbly. There are a lot of compromised churches out there and I am pleased to say that right now CBC Beaufort is not one of them.

What happened to so many countless verses about how we are not to judge or condemn, and being called to love and forgive like Jesus does? Everybody at the church was extremely friendly and welcoming and was happy to have us as guests. You can feel all of the history and years and centuries around you as you enter the church and explore. Everything is well maintained and taken care of here.
