Beautiful church. Decent music. Some nice people. If I as a teacher treated my students like the…read morehead priest here treats his parishioners, I would lose my job and be fired. So much ego, mocking his parishioners, ignoring them, avoiding them, dismissing them, as if he is above any human being. Acts so high and mighty, does not listen, thinks he knows all and dismisses and mocks his people. He cannot even bother to treat all like humans, ignoring them and avoiding them, judging them, remember in Matthew 7, it says not to judge Matthew, but you assume, judge, and have your preconceived notions/ideas, think you know all, when you do not even know us. We worship God, not priests. Jesus Christ is King of the Universe, not the priests here, they act less like Jesus each day unfortunately. We changed to a new church where we found a loving priest, much more like Jesus. The priests here are human and not Christ-like at all, just like most humans, they ignore some and pass others, they cannot be bothered to look at people in the eyes or say hello, they are nothing like Jesus, not really welcoming here at all. You see them out and about in town, they ignore you too. Then they wonder why you switched to a different church, go figure? Father Armando and Pierre seem good, the others just walk by and pass you, cannot be bothered to look at you or say anything. They are typical of most people today, so quite indifferent, not what you would expect from a Catholic priest. The priests here have their own insecurities with some parishioners, they prejudge, assume, have their beliefs about people, and cannot be bothered with some. There is a lot of hypocrisy and mediocrity by Catholic priests today, especially here at this church. Jesus publicly rebuked the priests, pharisees, and scribes and called them hypocrites, then they had Him killed. Was Jesus rude too? The truth is hard for these priests who think they are so holy, so above all, so almighty, yet cannot be bothered to even look down at you like the rich man treated Lazarus in the Bible. They all say they want to have good holy priests, but the same priests that say that, are not holy themselves, ignoring, avoiding, and dismissing people like the rich man did to Lazarus in the Bible, not at all being Christ-like, a lot of hypocrisy here. They do not lead by example, the example Jesus gave us. They judge, assume, ignore, and dismiss some here. They do not want to have you speak out against them or call them on their own misdeeds of not following the holy laws, much like Jesus did to them too. Don't ever let the humans running the church chase you away from your faith and love for Jesus and the Catholic faith, it is a beautiful faith. I have seen so many chased away by priests who do not behave in a true Christ-like way. Our Catholic priests today need a lot of prayers. We pray for the priests here everyday, but decided to switch to a church where the priests were more Christ-like, holy, loving, and kind treating all people like Jesus would, like any decent human being would. As St. Paul warned in the Bible, "If I have all faith, so as to move mountains, yet do not have charity, I am nothing." Treating all kindly, lovingly, and respectfully, not ignoring them or acting like they do not exist, charity needs to be shown by priests too, they are supposed to be examples of Jesus after all. Matthew Henry said, "Knowledge is vain and fruitless, which is not reduced to practice." The priests here need to practice what they preach! We are keeping them in our daily prayers although we no longer go here.
