Dirty looks, ignoring you, and shunning while requiring your submission to authority is a normal response from them especially should you ask questions. The normal response is who are you to question me and if you don't like it leave. There is no transparency about things like finances and no congregational input into any decision. After they shared my personal emails and counseling info with many of their personal friends, I attempted to even contact the stated pastoral oversight and was completely ignored. All problems are hidden and covered with a can't talk about it rule. You are required to pretend to be at peace with people that treat you vindictively and spitefully. If you talk about anything you will be called in for yet another discipline meeting where it is always two or three family members or their close personal friends against you. In these meetings even if you prove you are telling the truth and were treated badly by a family leader your reaction to the treatment is punished and the leader gets an excuse. They actually shared my personal counseling sessions in sermons and with their friends.

It's so beautiful to see how it's grown to multiple locations. The Gulfport campus was so large and has so many buildings it was a bit overwhelming. It's kind of the only reason it's not five stars. This church is definitely too large to only have one service. There should definitely be at least two services. It was a bit overwhelming. But that's still such a beautiful thing that people are so hungry for Gods word that there's a need for this.

I recently attended a service at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast and left deeply disappointed and…read moreconcerned by some of the teachings I heard. The speaker taught that Satan cannot tempt a person after salvation and even stated that a blind person cannot be tempted because they cannot see. The pastor also taught that speaking in tongues is proof of salvation. I also spoke personally with the pastor about my concerns regarding the game Mahjong, which members were planning to play at a church cookout named Mahjong which holds a prominent position in Eastern divination, fortune-telling, and spiritual strategy, operating similarly to how standard playing cards and Tarot are utilized in Western witchcraft. It comes across just a matching game, but it's an open door for demonic and occult attacks. I told the pastor that the Lord had warned me that things connected with occult practices can open doors to demonic activity and bring people into spiritual bondage. I also shared with him that I had experienced bad dreams after having certain things in my own home. The pastor told me that many members of his church have these types of things in their homes and do not have bad dreams. He made it clear that he did not share my concerns and that they were going to continue playing Mahjong. My concern is that things associated with occult practices are being permitted among church members without proper spiritual discernment. Along with the teachings I heard during the service, this left me deeply concerned about the direction of this church.

We were all warmly welcomed by dozens of their members. The service commenced with some joyous singing, led by the superb organist who kept the proceedings lively and entertaining. The choir leader led the choir in numbers which were obviously very well rehearsed. It was refreshing to note that the choir included a goodly number of young members. The sermon was delivered by a young seminary student, Eric D. I predict that Eric's career will go very far. His knowledge of the Bible, his zestful delivery and the way he kept the audience energized was remarkable. Even the senior pastors on the stage could not contain their delight with what they were seeing. I would highly recommend this church to anyone.
