Around the time of my family's departure they became an unaffiliated independent Baptist Church. My wife and I were married here on December,18, 1987. Our families spiritual life revolved around this wonderful church and the great people who attended services here. New Hope Baptist Church is prospering better than it did when affiliated with the Broad Baptist Association. Southern Baptist that is. Currently they have a terrific pastor and they are definitely headed in the right direction! I absolutely recommend this church to anyone seeking a church home. One word of caution: because this congregation is independent Baptist; a dress code is in place. No shorts for the men and dresses for the ladies.
