She was very anxious about closing her original account, since her pensions and such are automatically deposited each month (and of course, no one is crazy about having fraud committed to them). Additionally, she doesn't own a computer and everything 'digital' to her is a mystery... so you can imagine. We had to go in a few times to complete the transfer of accounts, and each time, Brandon Bedolla could not have been more pleasant and helpful with us. He was particularly patient with my mother. Always with a smile, Brandon helped us with all the documentation, security measures and even helped us submit a transfer of one of her pensions. He was a true professional and made what could've been a laborious ordeal quite simple and seamless. Thanks again, Brandon, for everything!

Not anything against this particular branch, just Chase Bank in general, I seriously think that…read morethey could do better as far as when somebody's debit a credit card is hacked like mine was, instead of just turning it off because they no longer issue, temporary debit cards, I suggest generating a new card immediately and getting that information to the customer whose card was compromised. This would at least allow us to put it into our phones and be able to use the tap feature at various businesses. But just to say well, we'll get a card out to you within 10 business days doesn't cut it in today's world, get off your ass and do something about it!!! I still think Wells Fargo is better

There are plenty of great reasons to go with a credit union for all of those things, you should really check it out. One of the major factors for me in this credit union is the friendliness and quality of the people that work here. It's kind of like going to Cheers where everybody knows your name, and they make you feel right at home. When I'm in Orange county this is definitely my go-to Branch, as it is right down the street from where I normally stay., and their hours are perfect because I can always stop by in between meetings. Inside the branch everything is neat and clean and feels modern and fresh. Again, the real standout is the people that work here. Always friendly, always attentive, and willing to be courteous and chatty. I appreciate that as it can make it rather boring bank experience. Much more pleasurable. Added bonus, they have a coinstar machine inside, and if you are a credit Union member, you get no fees charged to exchange your coins for paper money. That in and of itself saves you easily 12 or 13%. Bottom line, I cannot recommend this place enough, if you live in Orange county, or if you had lived in Orange county. This is a great place to go to join a credit union and take advantage of all of the savings that they offer their members.

Jocelyn was and is simply the BEST! So, if you want professional and dedicated member service experience, seek out Jocelyn. You will not be disappointed. -Michael Collins Fountain Valley

Customer service has always been #1 - this location is well staffed, but for quick/do-it-yourself transactions - there are three ATMs upfront that are readily accessible, fast, and efficient. For anything that involves walking inside the branch, I've never had too long of a wait - even when there is a line. Really - if you qualify for membership - whether you're a school employee or are related to one - membership is worth it. One of the major plusses to having a credit union account is access to the CO-OP ATM network - a boon when you're traveling! Most 7-11s have ATMs that are part of this network, and you can usually find CO-OP ATMs at various credit unions across the country. The benefits of a CO-OP ATM? it's all part of the credit union network - so you can access basic account info AND withdraw cash fee-free. While the Huntington Beach SchoolsFirst branch is my "home branch" and go-to, this location in Fountain Valley is just as friendly, service is top notch, and there's plenty of parking. No issues!

In recent years, they have had some very good certificate (CD equivalents) special rates which I have taken advantage of. On several occasions, I have had the pleasure of working with Relationship Manager Darlene Luciano on setting up these certificates. Darlene has always been wonderful to work with (very pleasant, positive, respectful, profession, and knowledgeable). Last Saturday, I came into the branch at 12:45 (right before they closed at 1) wanting to open a certificate for which it was the last day to get the promotional special interest rate. I was directed to stand in the teller line in order to be put with a banker in order to open the certificate account. By the time I got to the teller, it was 5 minutes to closing and the teller told me it was too near closing for me to see a banker and open the account. I explained that I had just spoken to the call center who had assured that I could open it if I went into the credit union before closing. I asked to speak to the manager who asked Darlene to stay past closing and open the account. In spite of her having to stay 45 minutes past quitting time on a Saturday to open the certificate account, she was a joy to work with as always. One issue arose during the setup regarding a rate bump for new money that was offered by the call center (which turned out to be bad information) and Darlene brought in the branch manager on duty, Martin Kim, to address my concern. He offered to follow up with the call center on Monday to see if something could done to honor the call centers errant offer of a rate bump on the certificate. As promised, he did just that and called me on Monday to tell me that the credit union had decided to add the bump to the certificate rate as was errantly promised by the call center. Fantastic customer service by both Darlene, Martin, and Nuvision Federal Credit Union. I'm guessing that I will continue to be customer of NuVision for another 30 years - if I'm still alive and kicking!
