A girlfriend of mine started working at this salon suggested a deep pore facial, 1hour. It was a much needed to say the least. I will be returning in about 2 months to keep my skin on the right track. Kristine also suggested some personalized products for me to purchase while I'm home to maintain great looking skin between visits.

Came in for a kids manicure for my daughter and a polish change for myself…read more I chose this salon because they listed kids manicures, but when we arrived there was a bit of confusion about what that included. Once we got on the same page, they shaped her nails and added a design, which turned out really cute. The staff -- especially the women working with my daughter -- were very patient and gentle with her. Even when she accidentally messed up a nail, they fixed it with no problem, which I appreciated. The salon itself is clean and in a nice area, and both of our nails came out looking good. My daughter was happy, which is what mattered most. The experience felt a little unclear at times, and drying options seemed limited, but overall it was a pleasant visit.

Debbie Martine is absolutely unskilled and doesn't know how to treat her clients properly. I have dark hair and previously had highlights done by a stylist in Boston. I came in for a base color and a haircut. She didn't seem confident from the start but promised to even out my base and blend it closer to my highlights. Instead, she did the exact opposite and completely washed out my $320 worth of highlights. She kept apologizing but never offered to fix it or even discuss restoring my highlights. On top of that, I asked for curtain bangs, and she gave me a full fringe instead. What a disaster :/ The rest of the staff is GOLD, super polite and professional. Debbie seriously needs some training. You can't call yourself a hairstylist if you can't work with natural hair colors!

None of that was disclosed before I purchased the Groupon. When I asked how I was supposed to get a refund, I was simply told to "contact Groupon." There was no offer to help and no indication that the Groupon should have been removed while services were unavailable. If you're unable to accept new clients, your Groupon should be paused or removed so people aren't paying for services they can't receive. This situation wasted my time and left me having to chase down a refund myself. It felt very unprofessional, and I would not recommend purchasing any promotions from this business unless you first confirm they are actually accepting appointments.
