Under 5 minutes. And the ambulance was just 2 minutes behind them. On a Sunday morning. For comparison, the police station was closer, and it was about 25 minutes before any officer showed up, making it hard to keep witnesses around. In fairness, they may all have been chasing the guy who hit us and took off. The firemen calmed us down, made sure the car didn't blow up, and helped flow traffic. The ambulance EMTs ran us through the drills., made sure we were alright for real. Nothing broken but the car. Top notch professionals. Made me feel good about paying taxes for a change.
