She talked over me, in a loud tone, refusing a healthy conversation & hung up on me 2 times. My 2nd call was to give her the benefit of the doubt, in the hopes that we were disconnected (that the hang up was in error) & to have a healthy communication. I was never treated (for several herniated discs) by Dr Leucken, as that was my main purpose for the visit (my 1st & last). I was merely given an exam (much like an IME). When I asked about treatment, he told me I need to set up a 2nd appointment. I immediately reminded him of my reason & need for that visit. When I first set up the appointment by phone, & again on the day of the visit, I asked Yvonne, to affirm my needs & to insure that Dr Leucken takes my insurance. I was told yes, to all. However, unbeknownst to me by this office (upon making the appointment & again at the time of the visit) that only manipulations are covered. I found this out only when my Insurance company contacted me about the denial of payment (they cover manipulations, only). I have not only worked in the medical field but I've also been to several doctors in my lifetime - we/they ALL tell the patient IN ADVANCE what is covered & what is not. Also, I should have been respected enough to be told that I would NOT receive treatment upon my first visit. This, too, is not customary of other professional medical practices (chiropractors, included)! I tried 1 MORE TIME to have healthily dialogue with Yvonne. She let it go to voicemail, to which I left a very diplomatic & disappointing voicemail. I wonder if Dr Leucken will even hear it. I will not be back, nor refer this highly unprofessional office to my circle of family & friends. {GOD bless the patients who've had positive reviews. I hope he truly serves you well.}

Dr. Green gave her an extensive examination before recommending the proper treatment that she needed. He was able to kindly fit her in at the end of his day (late on a Friday) so that she can get relief from the pain. Dr. Green had spent a lot of time with her She left his office feeling much better. He has a good sense of humor & is kind, compassionate and patient. His office staff includes an acupuncturist and a physical therapist who are well mannered and polite. We went to the chiropractor at Flushing and spent a few months there last summer. However, his condition got worse than before. Finally, we found Dr. Paul Kang at Valley Stream, NY. He specializes in Scoliosis Correction. My wife and I decided to visit for the first time. Dr. Kang explained the latest X-Ray in great detail. He took many pictures of my son and told us what was the cause. Dr. Kang spent two hours teaching my son about Scoliosis treatments and exercises. The second visit was scheduled for Sunday morning. He spent another 3 hours with my son on how to increase core strength and stability. My son feels very confident and able to follow all the procedures. Dr. Kang was very patient and professional. He explained every detail of the treatments and exercises. He always asked us for feedback and took it seriously. My son just loves the place and he is willing to train himself. Dr. Kang gave us great hope. My son can avoid the painful surgery. We committed to going there every Saturday. Let me also preface that I only give five stars when they are due. I have been a patient of Dr. Seigal and Dr. Voutoiilis for over five years. That seems like a long time, and you may be thinking, "like if they are so good why aren't you cured of all of my ailments?" My neck condition is such that I require somewhat habitual treatments; some months more often than others. The best part about this place is that they are so accommodating. Practically anytime I am in pain, they fit me in. They have convenient nighttime and weekend hours for people, like me, who work and have hefty commutes. The office is small but comfortable and has always been staffed by friendly inviting professionals that make you feel like you are catching up with old friends; rather than just coming to a doctors office. Dr. Siegel has a deep understanding of osteopathic manipulation. He is conservative in his application, never pushing me beyond my comfort level. I always leave feeling better with clear instructions on how to maintain my progress toward better physical health and wellbeing, and usually a good tip on a cool brunch place; Yelp users will appreciate that he is a bit of a foodie as well.
