The girl who runs the shop is lovely always interested in what you have been up to since your last visit. As well as the hairdressers there is a beauty therapist upstairs that offers all the usual stuff like waxing, facials etc. I've never been up there but my girlfriend says they are good. Thankfully they did. I opted just for a dry trim. I foolishly didn't enquire about the price before I let her start on my hair but figured it wouldn't be too much. I have the student hairdresser do my hair, she was nice enough but not over chatty but that was fine with me I just want my hair cut and i'm not too bothered about small talk although I guess others like that. Anyway I was so shocked when I went to pay that she only wanted to charge £4 what a bargain. I was shocked I gave her £5 as that was such a reasonable price. Excellent value

worst hairdresser experience EVER. i'm not overly picky with…read morehairdressers, but this was the worst. no small talk at all, no asking what i actually wanted. i got my hair washed..and then asked how short i wanted it. she literally cut my hair in a straight line, without blending it in or anything. the customer before me got the same treatment, thats the moment when i shouldve fled. my hair looks like someone held a ruler to my head and cut the hair off. terrible! NEVER AGAIN!
