Customer since 2018 with a homeowner's insurance plan. Despite my best efforts, have never once…read morereached or spoken to an office principal in that entire time. Lackluster recall and customer service, and impossible to contact above all. I filed a viable claim with Erie Insurance for a burst pipe in December 2022, which I am still attempting to reconcile, with no guidance or assistance from this agency. At every turn, Casper has failed to advocate for me, instructing me at one point to defer to Erie's adjuster, all the while knowing almost nothing about me, my policy and associated rights, or my prior attempts at communication. Needless to say, I've recently filed an insurance complaint with the Commonwealth. If you've had good experience with Casper, that's as it should be. I decidedly have not, and am disappointed to hear from others than my experience is not only ordinary, it's commonplace. I will be switching to another agency upon resolution of my claim. If my request is denied, I'll be leaving Erie altogether, and largely on account of the indifference of this agency.

George (Siegel and Company) has been my accountant for a few years. And while the complexity of…read morework has evolved over those years, everything always feels easy. Documents are managed securely. Scheduling time with George is a cinch via his website. And he's always responsive to my one off email questions. Of course, like anything, you get what you put in. If you put the time into documenting everything with supporting details, you will find the process seamless. And with the IRS being infused with $80 billion to beef up their tax-cheat game, now is not the time to be screwing around with Uncle Sam. A little extra to have a pro like Siegel and Company at your side is well worth the outcome and peace of mind.

I have used Horner, Wible & Terek for several years in the past. This year I filed taxes by myself…read more I received one of the IRS notifications that I needed to verify my return online. In order to do so, I needed to provide my tax return from last year as well as the supporting documents. I called Horner, Wible & Terek to ask about getting copies of the tax return and documents. Lisa answered the phone and was very helpful........until I advised her that I had not done my taxes through them this year. If you could have heard the condescending tone in her voice, I am sure you would have been upset as well. I don't believe that kindness and good behavior is something that should only be administered to current clients - I believe that it should be a reflection of who you are as a person. Sadly, Lisa did not exhibit that. She did agree to make some of (not all) the information available to me but, advised that she had deadlines so it would have to wait until after April 15th. Her current workload apparently does not permit her to make a few copies, put them in an envelope and put them in the tray for outgoing mail. I am so disappointed to realize that for Horner, Wible & Terek, the only people worthy of decent customer service are the people that continue to pay for their services year after year.
