Finley customs is the biggest want to be shop I've ever seen they barely do any of their work and house and they want to be put on a pedestal just because they can hook up electronics the same that I can get hooked up for a dollar at audio express. Not to mention how rude the managers are I guess they must be so rude from all the steroids and testosterone they have to take trying to hold onto their pitiful youth. I mean really probably DC audio down the road is doing most your custom stereo installs.I feel sorry for all the customers that come to you that can probably buy the same products on eBay for 1/10 of the cost and in Bolt them on themselves at home in the garage. Bought a brand new car , told me it was life time warranty for the TINT THEY HAD ... long story short it's been 5 years or a little longer , the TINT they said they would cover lifetime isn't covered cause over 5 years ago they didn't carry product good enough to say life time warranty... idk I paid over 400 dollars to get t tinted and even topped an extra 100 ... now I'm calling and nope not only they don't carry files that far back but they lied to me about my purchase ... they had a whole sales team telling me lifetime warranty and now I'm left in the dust ... thanks a lot Findlay ... don't get bam boozeled read more

Bill West was great! I would recommend him to anyone I know! I brought my highlander over told him that I needed ideas to change the look of the vehicle. He said to me that when it's done you won't even recognize it! He kept his promise to me and I am so thankful that he did!!! Our experience with Findlay Customs started out very poorly. I am giving them 5 stars for their problem resolution and responsiveness to our issue. Jimmy Kiessling went above and beyond to ensure our satisfaction and because of him, I will be using them again. We purchased a leveling kit and were told we would be called in 2-3 days when the part came in. After 7 days we had to follow up at which time they told us the part was in and so we scheduled an appointment. Somehow our appointment was never put in their books so when we dropped off the vehicle they were unable to locate any appointment but didn't tell me and still took the car. The job was supposed to take a day and half at most. After two and a half days we called to follow up and were told by a different employee that the wrong part was ordered and that our car was being worked on right then. Come to find out our car was not being worked and they still didn't even have the right part. After a less then helpful conversation with that employee, Jimmy got involved. Jimmy was honest with us, up front, and owned up their mistakes. He more than remedied the situation and kept in constant communication with us. I can't say enough about how great Jimmy was to work with. He turned a horrible situation around and was exceptional. read more

I really wanted to do business with Findlay Customs. I was referred to Shawn and met with him for a quote to re do the stereo system in a recently purchased RV. I thought the quote was a bit steep and sent numerous emails in addition to making several phone calls leaving messages, however I couldn't get a return call or email. I see nothing but 5 Star reviews and wonder why I got the bum rush. I'm happy spending my money at DC Sound where I feel I will get as good or better quality work. Sorry, I hate to leave a negative review but Shawn and Findlay Customs really dropped the ball as far as I am concerned. As far as their work goes, it may be great. I'll never know. Addendum 3/9/16: There are always instances and situations that can derail the best of intentions. Findlay Customs has followed up my somewhat negative Yelp Review with a sincere apology and desire to make things 'right'. I am sure that my initial good impression was real and that they are an outstanding business. However, IMHO, I am committed to having the work done now by DC Sound. Just tinted windows on my 2017 Audi A4 Quattro and they also did my 2011 Audi. Learned allot about window tint from these guys and they steered me in the right direction. I never had tinted windows before the last two cars that they tinted. The ceramic tint is awesome.. keeps the heat out. Good bunch of guys here who know their stuff and do a great job. I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Findlay Customs and would recommend them to anyone who needs services done to their vehicle (I had my windows tinted). I went to Findlay Customs after being told by Findlay Honda Henderson that they were the ones who had tinted my new Civic and I needed some repairs done to the tint due to some dust that had settled under it that looked bad. When I got there they were booked so I made an appointment to come back the following week and have them make the repairs, but when I dropped my car off they looked into their system and realized that Honda was mistaken and they were actually not the ones who had tinted my car. Despite this fact, the general manager was SO helpful and offered to completely redo the tint on all of the windows, not just the ones that needed to be fixed, for FREE because he didn't want me to have to keep running all around town because of Honda's mistake. Tai was my service rep and he was super fast and knowledgeable, and I felt like a VIP there. They put my car first in line, got it done within a couple of hours, and even got me a courtesy shuttle to and from my house so that I could go home for free while they worked on my car. 5 star customer service AND my window tint looks perfect. I brought my motorcycle in for accident repair on a referral back on March 28th, 2020. Due to the pandemic, I already had the understanding that it was going to take longer than expected turnaround while waiting on parts. Fast forward to June 24th, all parts ordered had finally been picked up. Prior to that, I was told that they were still awaiting parts when I knew for a fact that all the parts had arrived the week prior and upon voicing that, the story then changed to them short on delivery drivers. Now it has been almost 3 additional weeks and very little progress has been made in that only one part has been painted as of this morning, the 6th of July. No other disassembly/reassembly has been completed and as with previous weeks, I'm being told an additional week. They never return calls and if I don't physically go into the shop, I definitely wouldn't know what's going on. Due to the lack of truthful communication and any timely responses, I can honestly say that I won't be using this place again. Also bear in mind that the bill has already been paid by the insurance company involved, so funding is not the issue. read more

I know not everyone goes here for the same thing. People either come here to spend alot of money to customize their ride, get tint or have something troubleshot. Well, in my few experiences coming here im usually pleased but this was the last time. Brought my car back in for something that was fixed back in february by them. Since February (in May) another item they fixed broke again and i just fixed it myself because it was an obvious fix and i didnt want to waste my day off doing something i can fix myself at home. This time i brought it back in not related to the fix i did myself and they said because i took it upon myself to fix it its no longer under warrarnty and they will not cover it.They accused me of altering their fix. I know they have a hard time believing customers because customers will lie i get it but i didnt alter anything from the previous fix just repaired what they repaired because that particular mechanic didnt do a good job of repairing wires. So now they wanted to charge me an unknown amount to replace wiring and now my electric coolong fan doesn't work because of the troubleshooting they started which they dont want to fix. If i was given an estimate i wouldve considered paying for it even though their original work was the issue but they told me it could take a few hours of diagonistic troubleshooting but it was unknown. Give me an estimate not an unknown estimate. Next thing you know they want to charge me $500. Unreal! Will not be going back because if your not spending money your're not worth there time and they will find a reason to charge you when they should be honoring their previous work instead of accusing me of alteration! read more

Amazing. Talk to Troy, hes a great guy and super nice. I don t know shit about cars but he took the time to explain everything to me and even show me around the shop and what other projects they were working on there. I ended up getting new rims for my car and the first time the put them on they were slightly too wide so they shipped them out for a slightly less wide pair and had them installed again 2 days later. They did a fantastic job reupholstering my car seats. The seats look and feel great bringing my 2004 Acura car back to life. Also added a new stereo system that connects my phone via Bluetooth and allows me to use all my apps which includes Pandora and iHeartRadio from my phone to the car stereo as well as a microphone to talk through the phone as well. They were also able to integrate the steering wheel controls which was a bit of a headache for them, but they managed to get it to work. The radio also has a feature if I want to add a camera down the road. Bill West and his team did a great job! read more

Over the last 5 years I have used Findlay Customs to install 9500i Escort systems in my vehicles. Not an easy task, but each time they did a very neat job. My latest project was installation of a Superbumper stainless steel impact attenuator, requiring a 2" X 2" trailer hitch (which I also use for my heavy electric bikes). It was not an easy job, due to the fact that my Honda Accord Hybrid officially doesn't accept a hitch of any kind. However, Findlay Customs managed to modify another Honda hitch so that it now looks as if it belonged on the car as an OEM piece. This required quite a bit of cutting and welding of the hitch and undercarriage shroud, but they are not afraid to take on out of the ordinary projects. JJ guided the project and was quite polite through it all. read more

I have an '06 Honda Pilot, old enough to have had no way to play music or podcasts from my I Phone through the car's audio system, or use the phone hands-free. I also didn't want to replace the factory stereo for aesthetic and cost purposes. Shaun at Findlay Customs suggested a Bluetooth interface installed behind the dash, something I was unfamiliar with and that had not been mentioned by another car audio place I went to that tried to get me to go a much more expensive route. What Shaun recommended was exactly what I got, and it does everything I need as promised. I can now play whatever I have on my phone through the car speakers, make and receive calls, even use the steering wheel buttons to change volume and answer/end calls, all wirelessly, and with the original factory stereo/satellite system intact and fully functional and integrated with the hidden Bluetooth connection. I couldn't be more pleased with the service and expertise I received from Shaun and Findlay Customs. I would go nowhere else for any and all car audio and customizing needs. read more

Amazing service. These guys are the real deal. I took my cheap little Kia Rio in to get tinted, and they treated me like I brought in a Bentley. They did a great job, and were very friendly. Stay away from the discount shops that will end up charging you more than they quote, and go with a place that keeps their word. They promised me they would be done in two hours, it only took an hour, and they kept their promise of the price they quoted me, on top of all that, the tint looks amazing, not a flaw in it.
