I never heard from a photographer and reached out to SwitfPix via email several times. No response whatsoever. I showed up at the apartment at the scheduled time and no one showed up. I cold've booked another photographer but didn't since I thought that SwiftPix was going to do the job. The end result? I wasn't able to schedule a new photographer while down there and ended up with no photos. I booked this service based on the excellent reviews but somehow my booking fell between the cracks. :-( I would not recommend this company.

Many think photography is just mechanical documentation of how you look and they are a matter of pushing buttons a bunch of times and cherry picking what fits your self-image (which is more like of a narcissistic and insecure teenager than people with your experience; we all've been there) for comfort and security. That is a 20th century, defensive approach that filled the world with artless, dehumanized visual fictions; that is still the current norm. But people notice. Look at my pictures, and ask yourself: do you want to hire this person? Do you want to work for this person? Do you think this person offers valuable skills and get the job done? We were on vacation in Florida for Spring Break and had the pleasure of meeting Daniel. He was so…read morepleasant to talk to and my husband casually asked me what he did for a living. I am so glad my husband asked the question. Daniel told us that he is a photographer and gave us a business card. Once my husband went to his website and checked out his work, we decided to hire him for a family photo session. I cannot even begin to tell you how wonderful and talented Daniel is. He had great ideas for our beach photo shoot, he was so patient and energetic with us and our child, he was so personable and so easy to work with. We never felt rushed. He was so kind and giving of his time. When our child got hot, tired and cranky, he told us to take a break, get something to eat and drink, and then he got right back to work without charging extra for the additional time he spent with us. He was truly a pleasure to work with. We left Florida the very next day, and Daniel had asked us for a couple of days to get the photos to us which we thought was very reasonable. We received the amazing photos the very next day. A day earlier than promised. I looked at the photos and then later the video and I teared up. He really captures the heart of our family. He captured the love, the affection, the happiness, the smiles... The pictures are so lovely that I am blowing some up on large canvases and putting them all over the house. Thank you Daniel for your beautiful work. We wish you all the best.

He was also very flexible and accommodating with the date. The original date we chosen had to get shifted a little bit because the weather was uncooperative for an outdoor photo shoot. He was also very flexible on the location and agreed to come all the way down from Fort Lauderdale to South Pointe Park in South Beach! I really appreciated this, because I don't think there was a more perfect place for this photo shoot. The photoshoot itself was fun and laid back. Alex had asked for pictures and ideas of things I wanted proactively so he had an idea of different poses and shots we could do. He made us comfortable and helped us get the poses right, and we tried a bunch of different locations and angles. He was very receptive to what we wanted, and showed us the photos immediately after they were taken to see what we thought. He didn't rush us and was very thorough, ensuring we were satisfied with the photos and had plenty of options to choose from! The turn around time after the shoot was very quick. He got me the fully edited photos in a couple days and the video took just a week. The editing on the photos was very nice and subtle, and the video turned out perfect. I highly recommend Alex for his photography and videography and will definitely use him again for future photo shoots!
