This place is a special treat for Filipinos in the area. Though it's small, they have the essentials. The owners are super nice as well!

Really clean, well stocked store with the friendliest staff! Nice selection of European breads,…read morejams, cheeses, chocolates etc. everything is so clean and nothing is out of date. I'm very intrigued with the frozen dumplings and will pick some up next time. If you like cheese buy the cheese in the can with the red lid- you won't regret it! It's like a creamier feta in a brine. So yummy!! Can't wait to try more treats from this shop.

I'm so glad I did, too, because I found a candy bar that I had been looking for for many years that I saw at another store that stopped carrying it. When I walked in, I was greeted by a friendly man behind the counter. He was extremely nice and helpful when I asked him questions about some different candies that I saw that had foreign writing on them. There was a whole aisle with candy in it. I couldn't believe my luck. There's something about foreign candies that I just find very appealing. They're unusual and have different flavors and textures than American candies do. I wanted to try them all. There wasn't just candies, though. There were also shelves with sauces, spices, dried pastas and more. There was also a small drink section and a frozen section with frozen foods available. The man said the store has been open since April. It wasn't very busy when I was there. I would love to see the store crowded with shoppers, if only to ensure that the store stays around for a long time so I can get my candy fix. The prices are very reasonable and the service is outstanding. The store is very clean and modern looking. The man spoke perfect English so we understood each other perfectly. I bought my first Dubai chocolate bar and it was wonderful. I'm going to have to stop by this store often. Please show this place some love.

They have a variety of prepared food, frozen food, fresh fish, fresh groceries, snacks, incense, spices, etc. I was not looking at the prices, since I was not actually shopping for anything, but this store looks fully stocked with lots of goodies. My boyfriend and I always have trouble finding good garlic but this place has got it! The next time we need fresh garlic we are coming here! There were a lot of people shopping in the fresh grocery section picking up vegetables. The locals know the secret of this place. I highly recommend stopping by for a visit, even if just to explore.

They don't realize that prices from suppliers probably change so often it doesn't make sense for the management to constantly change signs and labels to reflect what their suppliers charge. I'm an Indian as well from Chicago and to be honest Konark has great pricing that is more than fair. Plus there's a bonus food court area serving up some delicious Indian street food much like at Patel Brother's on Devon Avenue in Chicago. This place is great. Don't let these morons sway you from going here. The people that work there do their best and their passion shows. All their produce is fresh and great quality and once again their pricing is great compared to other places in the Des Moines area.

If you are familiar with the Des Moines metro the Graziano Bros name should be one you already know. Established in 1912 they are a fixture here when it comes to Italian sausage. The ordering process was smooth and the menu was displayed well. The wait wasn't long. I ordered the fried ravioli (beef filled) with marinara and an Italian Chop sandwich. The Italian Chop is almost exactly what it sounds like. It's served cold. Chopped mortadella, pepperoni, capicola, salami, provolone, tomato, onion, pepper rings, and lettuce. Tossed in a creamy Italian dressing. Served on a hoagie roll. The ravoli was served terrifyingly hot. Lol It's a bold tangy marinara. The sandwich is perfect for what it is. Service was excellent for a truck and typical of when there's a line. Busy. Not much time to small talk. I'll definitely be watching our food vendor schedule and trying out more items from the Graziano Bros. Sausage Mobile food trailer. https://www.facebook.com/p/Graziano-Bros-Sausage-Mobile-61572883362883/
