She also was not listening to us when we were trying to tell her about what is going on and she completely ignored us. She was very rude, condescending, and not knowledgeable on the situation we were in and didn't even give my wife the test results from her urinalysis. Unfortunately it is the only hospital close to us right now since we are still waiting for our car but I hope the other departments in the hospital are better, the ER needs to be better when it comes to giving accurate test results and just any at all and just overall service to the people that are coming into the hospital to be seen. Teach people how you want to be treated with respect and dignity and also just be better!

I got great care here at urgent care when I had to go in with a strep throat late at night. In and…read moreout in under an hour and paid $25 (yes, twentyfive) after seeing the doc and receiving a prescription. The nurses and the doc were very friendly, and the administrative ladies were too. It was nice that in Germany there is a system in which some of the pharmacies ("Apotheke") are open all night, or in a bigger city like Stuttgart a handful of pharmacies is open all night (you ring a bell and then hand the pharmacist the prescription). The hospital will give you a list of pharmacies that are on call at any given night in case you have to get a prescription after hours.

Worst hospital I have ever been too. (This is saying something as I lived in quite a few places…read moreincluding China for years and in various US states) I would have given negative stars if possible. The staff were rude and in accommodating. I arrived at the ER on a Saturday afternoon 4pm and was not put into a room until almost 1am. Then doctor said after an ultrasound that I needed an emergency surgery for an ovarian cyst. I questioned the judgement and the doctor quickly changed her mind and said they wanted to just monitor overnight. I asked for a toothbrush once in my room and was told no, we don't have any. On Sunday morning a different doctor came to my room and said I could go home, after another ultrasound but then at the ultrasound they said I needed the surgery. I was rushed in even though I wanted to be moved or drive myself to another hospital. When I awoke I was in a room that appeared to be for storage as everyone was just getting boxes of supplies from it. Several hours later, I was moved to a room with another woman and there was no curtain or divider. I asked for a private room or a curtain and was told no. The bed sheets were stained and had holes in them. The first "meal" was given to me after 36 hours in the hospital and it was just a piece of cheese on a plate. Every meal continued this way and each time I asked if I could just have some fruits or vegetables. On the second day I was given moldy bread and in German said 'excuse me, my bread is green.' The response was 'it's not my department.' I called to make a formal complaint and each time told to call back. A woman did come to my room after so many calls, but wrote nothing down and there was no follow up. The pain management was poor (You almost need to beg for medicine or be screaming in pain to get anything other than ibuprofen)!and over the course of 5 days the bloody bed was never changed nor did anyone offer to help me bathe. I was appalled by the mistreatment and lack of care by the staff and the lack of cleanliness, as well as the food or lack of. I would only recommend this place to someone I would wish to see tortured.
