Small sandwich and salad place in the hip Jægersgårdsgade in central Aarhus. "Fika" is Swedish for "girl", and some would probably consider the mostly vegetarian menu somewhat feminine, but this dude found it plenty satisfying.
Menu includes juices, smoothies, sandwiches, wraps, and a salad counter where you can choose your own items and mix them together in a custom salad. Service is quick and friendly, food is tasty and filling, and quite original in the combination of ingredients. I had the quinoa, beet, avocado, and humus wrap, which was excellent. For carnivores, there are meat options available.
The shop isn't huge, and it's worth noting that they do not have a restroom available, and ask that you don't go to any of the other cafés around them asking to use theirs. So if you need to go, go before you head here. read more
