Great spot for everyone over 50 to enjoy and a great team of volunteers! The facility has many offerings for activities for seniors and new older transplants from other states. It is just 15 dollars to join and 15 a month for membership. The facility provides all sorts of classes including Spanish, tax assistance, computer learning for seniors and too much more to cover in this review. The organization is well run by very caring folks and extremely helpful! I would recommend this place for anybody looking activity for the your in-laws or pedants who may live with you now. Fifty Forward in Donelson has so much to offer and not just for the over 50 crowd! They have a beauty salon, restaurant, and a dinner theater, all of which are open to the public! I first heard of the beauty salon from a friend of mine and thought I'd give it a try as it was close! Fast forward to a few months later and I became involved with the place, even putting in an art hanging system (well my rent-a-husband and I). Since then I have become a member and find that all of the people there, volunteers, worker bees, helpers, members are quite helpful, enthusiastic, and just plain fun! They have all manner of activities and classes, as well as the theater that sells out almost immediately because its shows are of very high caliber! The restaurant is great too! read more
