We went on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded. It took forever to get our food. I'm pretty sure the cook was cooking one plate at a time and he looked like he was going to pass out of exhaustion. After quite a wait the food began to come out. When our food came out the kids corndogs weren't ready. There my wife and i sat with two hungry kids looking at us saying, "where is ours". The waitress, who was very nice, told us it would be right out. No problem, corn dogs are quick right? Wrong! 15 minutes after that, the waitress brings us 2 black burnt to a crisp corn dogs that our kids wouldn't eat. My kids aren't picky and they were starving. Its a shame because the enchiladas and fajita salad were great. They need to hire a second cook or something. Really disappointed. read more

This place is..OK. Nothing special. The first thing I saw when I walked in was 3 mexican drunk guys and one of them dropping a glass bottle on the ground. The glass was left on the ground for my entire stay, until I said something. If you read my other post on a FIESTA GRILL in Huntington Beach (near the beach haha) you will understand my love for CHIMICHANGAS! Unfortunately, you could say I was looking for something similar. I tried the chimichanga there and it could not compete with the 10/10 chimichanga in huntington beach. this one was more of a 7/10 I guess thats fair. Not bad. It was very crispy. Too crispy in fact where the batter just ripped off way too easily. But the meat itself was pretty good. It was smaller than I expected too with a bigger price tag. I can't say I'll be coming back soon, but if I ever crave a chimichanga at Huntington Beach Fiesta Grill then maybe I'll come here just to be somewhat disappointed. I would just only come here to take out because it takes forever for service. The enchiladas de mole were delicious! Sweet and spicy just like I love it! Definitely good large portions for a good price. If you're a dope lover I suggest an asada dope It's full of flavor and I love that the sope is soft with a little crunch :) I am definitely going back to try out the molcajete. read more

The food at this joint is great. I had the steak nachos for dinner and flan for dessert. Prices are excellent for the size of the meals. Order at the counter, find a seat, and wait for your food. Generally, if you arrive with a large group, you will wait quite a bit for everyone to be served. Just left this establishment, came here for a Mother's Day early dinner. I come here a lot so I'm a regular as soon as I come in I am greeted and welcomed. This time around I was not acknowledged,as my family and I went to sit we were expecting the waitress to give us our menus and besides the fact it was hot inside the restaurant. Love the molcajete! I went with my sis and mom and shared a mixed molcajete. The sauce we chose was mild and it was sooooo good! The meat was so soft and juicy. The chorizo was my favorite. Nothing special... I usually don't bother with reviews unless it's really good or really bad... This place is clean the food is bland and I can't believe how they serve the taquitos! It says three taquito dinner... They barely fill the the plate with beans and rice which should be a filler if your going to charge $9.50 for a dinner plate. What I got was I think three taquitos chopped in finger food size pieces... I thought it was a joke or a kids plate but nope... That was my dinner! My husband and I started going here for Taco Tuesday and were pleasantly surprised. All of the tacos are great! They also started serving $1.25 domestic beer on Tuesdays. This is a horrible place to eat at. I was there the other day and it took them 30 mins to get the food. Not only the food was brought to the table very late but was aextremely salty and very poor quality . $25 of hard earned money just went down the drain. Highly disappointing. We really enjoyed our shrimp burritos. Hubby got fajita style shrimp burrito enchilada style, which was with red sauce. My shrimp burrito enchilada style was with a lighter sauce, I loved it! This was our first time here. We saw that it had 4 stars and near our house so we wanted to try something new. Tried calling to place a to go order and I was placed on hold for 6 minutes and eventually hung up. Then I went to this spot waited another 10 minutes to place a to go order note no one was ahead of me. We ordered asada veggie bowl and shrimp veggie bowl because we saw pictures of it and it looked great. Let me just say I should have checked our order before leaving. It didn't look like anything in the pictures. Our bowls didn't have rice, it only had lettuce, peppers and onions and our choice of proteins. I was really disappointed because I paid almost $11 for each and basically got a salad. I could have went else where if I wanted salad. Wish I had a better experience but you live and you learn. Seems the owners here take for granted the fact that they get a constant stream of hungry customers from the home depot located in the same lot. Why? Well my asada burrito was dry with a scant amount of meat and overstuffed with rice, even after I specifically asked for little or no rice. We have been coming to this restaurant for about two years. We have gone for breakfast and lunch. The menudo, enchiladas and chile verde are delicious. The rice and beans are yummy too. House salsa is very good. We just discovered the ceviche..... Yummy. Maria, our waitress is very nice and is always on top of water, coffee, soda. This is a very family oriented place.
