One of the things we talked about was drawing up legal documents, one of which was the Power of Attorney. After a couple of weeks, my mother and I decided that was the only one we needed. I called and left a message, and had no response. I then emailed, and got no response. Nothing. Nothing to say, I got your message, I will draw up just that one and it will be this much money and then you can come in and sign it. Or even to say, you need another meeting. So today I called again and the answering service was very very rude to me. He said we would have to set up another appointment. I told him that I just wanted to speak with the attorney and that I already called and emailed! My mom is 80 and can barely walk. It's difficult for her to get up and down the steps to this office. The attorney COULD have just called us and asked us any questions and then we could have gone in and signed it, but I guess that is too much to ask to get a response. I interact with attorneys and firms frequently, and this was the worst customer service by any of them by far. It was just about a complete waste of money and time. I have a friend who has a mother with a large estate and I will NOT be recommending this firm. Not because of the attorney, maybe he has no idea that his answering service is horrible. But if you want customer service for all the money you would be paying, go somewhere else.
