This Sunday market has the best of fresh food and drink from all around the region - cheese, fruit,…read morefresh baked bread, vegetables, wine, meat and fish - and a huge range of non-food items as well. It is located throughout the town centre, and walking around it takes at least an hour without stopping to buy anything.
Park by the Aveyron and cross the bridge into town and you can't miss the start of the market. It spreads throughout the town, with only a tiny fraction located in the market hall itself, and despite the number of small dogs and pushchairs around it's fairly easy to navigate, although you may have to push a little to get near the most popular stalls.
Many stallholders speak a little English (or are ex-pats) but all appreciate it if you make an attempt to order in French first!
