There are a few studio rooms which are free to use outside class hours which are usually on just in the mornings and after 6pm in the evenings. I've used the pool on a number of occassions which is clean and well maintained. Although there is kids lessons running for most of the afternoon until late evening, there is always one labe open for free adult swimming. There is also a jacuzzi and a sauna, and the changing rooms are pretty big. In the ladies, they have an adult only section as well, which is great. The only thing is that the showers are not great. The staff are very friendly, there are a variety of classess offered as well as a complimentary training plan, and from a facilities point of view this gym is probably the best in Drogheda. The one day guest pass is only €10 and gives you access to the pool, gym and all the classes for that day. I went in the late afternoons so it was not crowded at all, but I would say it gets more busy later in the evenings after 5 or 6pm.

Unfortunately, during my short membership, there were 3 occasions that the owner never showed up, so the premises were closed. After speaking to some of the other members this is a regular occurance. The gym is in the Dungannon Rugby Club Stevenson Park complex so its fairly no frills but where it really counts it has all you could need. The main space is fantastic with high ceilings and an array of equipment. There's also a spin studio with regular classes and a large studio upstairs for classes and circuits. The team of trainers also make use of the pitch and outside areas to really make you suffer!! Speaking of the trainers, they are a friendly and approachable bunch and seem to achieve serious results quickly with really positive encouragement - I've seen a big difference myself after only 2 weeks. The gym also has a very even membership of men and women which adds to the welcoming and unintimidating feel. Great place!
