I recently had a " Parking Garage Incident" with my F-150 while downtown resulting in some pretty significant body damage to the passenger side of my truck. When I contacted My insurance co (progressive) I asked if West Coast was available through them and they advised that they are actually preferred company. I got a call from Kevin within 24 hours of filing my claim and he took the truck in immediately. He called a few days after to advise that the parts were coming and he should turn the truck around within a couple weeks. To my great surprise and pleasure, He called within a week and updated that the truck was finished with paint and should be ready by the weekend. The next day it was ready to go. The body work was impeccable and the truck was returned to me washed, waxed, interior detailed and looking brand new. The insurance was all handled by them and I simply paid my deductible and was on my way. I will certainly recommend them to all of my friends and colleagues who may find themselves in need of a premium experience. Communication and the process was " Top Shelf". It was clean, organized and it provided me with the feeling that they on top of their game. I spoke with Robert who was my estimator and I saw he was doing his best to work with me and give me the best price possible since I was paying out of pocket for the work. I decided to give Joe Hudson's the job and the work was on time, within the estimated budget and the quality of the work was professional and flawless. I have friends who work for the dealership that I bought my car from and remarked on the quality of the work and the paint match. They also felt that the price was very fair. I have to say I was shocked when I received a call from Robert who advised me that he had some good news for me. Apparently the company does an audit of their pricing and they were going to send me a two hundred and something dollar refund that that they felt was due me to over estimating the charge for the work they did. I really was totally surprised that they would blind call me to let me know they were sending me money! That is true honesty and customer appreciation! I want to highly recommend bringing your car for bodywork at Joe Hudson's and working with Robert was a pleasure!

I found someone I wanted to have do the job, provided the information to H&R and they paid the detailer and I am happy to close this chapter. This was a learning experience for both of us I believe. This was my first time having to deal with a car repair after an accident. The insurance, the waiting, and the waiting. In closing I think that this company learned the importance of communication and will most likely not put a part on that is damaged, and I have learned that not everything will go as smoothly as I would like it to. It didn't hold and kept coming loose. We had to cut a third off the bumper to avoid tearing it off completely. We got estimates from three places and Carsmetics was lower by several hundred dollars. They also arranged for a great rate on a rental car, even shuttled us to rental car and arranged to drop off the rental car at their office. They were very helpful and informative the entire time. We dropped our van off at 8:30 AM and they said it would take two days. But the next day they called us and said it was ready! It looked beautiful. We were very pleased with the whole process. Highly recommended.
