Many colorful displays of produce here, I have never seen "Chilean" corn which is different than American corn in that it's a lot thicker. Interesting! Garlic, plantains, red peppers, onions, peaches, apples. What's available depends on what season it is. Prices are clearly marked and are probably a little bit negotiable. Right across from the municipalidad, local farmers, artisans and entrepreneurs come together every Wednesday and Saturday to present their products to the community in La Reina. A friend of mine who sells a variety of organic products recommended I come to this feria as everyone who is anyone in the Chilean organic circle has a stand. I recommend checking out the stall of Earth Friendly where you can find just about any cleaning product you need for your house (buh-bye toxic chemicals!) as well as Renato Gatica (I believe it is stand #34) they have amazing free range eggs for better than supermarket prices! They also have fairly cheap dried tomatos (hard to come by), great cereals, fresh produce, organic cafe and a lot more! There are also community garden spaces in the the same location, if you want to grow your own organic produce and don't have a garden. Plus a lot of the same people in the stalls offer classes & supplies...all you might need to participate! Tip: It is super important you look at the ingredients on some products. A lot of "all natural" products are made with a base that isn't...so make sure to ask! Bring cash!

Sin embargo la calidad es excelente, la diferencia en el gusto de un tomate de supermercado a uno orgánico es GIGANTE. Los precios estaban muy parecido a los de un super, quizás un poco más barato. También había un puesto con café, té e infusiones orgánicos. Compré english breakfeast y está bastante bueno sobre todo el precio 3800 el paquete con 25 bolsas casi al mismo precio q el símil de twinings. Hay un montón de otras cosas orgánicas y "verdes" pero no miré pq iba buscando comida. En resumen (frutas y verduras): Lo mejor: La calidad. Aquí es mucha calidad por igual o menos precio. Lo peor: poca variedad. **PS: Tiene estacionamiento.
