Overall, this is a medium-sized market, but they have enough choices to create many meals.

Many colorful displays of produce here, I have never seen "Chilean" corn which is different than American corn in that it's a lot thicker. Interesting! Garlic, plantains, red peppers, onions, peaches, apples. What's available depends on what season it is. Prices are clearly marked and are probably a little bit negotiable. As near as I could tell, vendors only accept cash.

It's 90% fruit and veg (basically everything you can imagine) with very low prices, similar to shopping at La Vega. It does get very busy here, I arrived around noon and I'm guessing it's better to show up in the early morning to avoid the crowds. Besides fruit and veg, there are 6-7 fresh fish stalls down at the far west end, and some other vendors selling household items, eggs, nuts, etc.
Puestos de fruta y verdura son lo que más abunda.
Porciones de cazuela, menestronne.
Porotos verdes, cebolla morada. Todo muy rico y práctico
