We met with their lead salesman, Colin, and he was fantastic. He was clear, open and honest and told us exactly what we should expect to see. They used a really cool 3-D modelling software (super modern!) that allowed us to plan out exactly how our deck would eventually look in our actual backyard. I didn't feel "up-sold" at all and it was super cool to see and hear all the options that we could choose from in order for us to pick what would eventually look best in our backyard (we even kicked around the idea of including a half-pipe for skateboarding and a fireman pole to get from the upper level to the lower level which was super fun although my wife eventually kiboshed the ideas...). Such a refreshing change to meet such a friendly contractor, he took the time to explain how they will be built, time frame with start and finish date etc. We were so pleased at how well everything was built with pride and quality and care and how clean he left the yards. You can see the quality We call and requested quotes from 4 other builders and know we made the right choice. He even gave us a warranty that no other quotes were offering. He was also the only person that stressed how important it was for us to call for references. In truth we never did call his references, to lazy I guess, but did not need to , his work was top notch. Every week I would get an excuse as to why they couldn't start the work even though they had taken a deposit of 50%. Work finally started 5 weeks behind and was poor quality and not as we discussed. When I asked for the fence posts to be moved as per what had been planned and agreed upon, the owner quit the job. Just left me with badly installed posts. Didn't even want to try to talk to me about finding a solution. Had to find another contractor to come do the work and move posts. Ended up costing me more than had I gone with a more reputable contractor in the first place.
