But far worse, he gave me an agonizing shot with no warning, sympathy, or explanation that I would shortly be in the worst pain of my life. That was for the extreme advanced arthritis in my toe, which he diagnosed but then told me the only thing to do is more shots or to "clean the joint out" of bone spurs.
